I remember when my dad asked me if I ever heard of faster pussycat and then showed me this song... At that moment I understood why he was who he was . Rest in peace Dad, You were more of a father to me than what you ever had and you did the best you could. I'll see you on the other side one day.
I miss my dad too buddy makes me sad to hear you say that but makes me happy to hear that your dad turned you onto that song, one of my favorites ever long live the 80s and long live faster pussycat may your dad and my dad rest in peace, my friend amen. Shalom.
I'm 50 years old , my Dad left me at home when I was 15 years old , I lost my best friend, this song still to this day tears me apart inside, one of the best songs of my life
Helllll Yeahhhh ! Will be Rockin' to The End !! Our Generation grew up Rockin'...We had 60's Rock from the Cradle. 70's Rock made our early Teenage years The most Fun anyone could ask for. 80's Rock launched Us into Adulthood after our Last Senior Graduation Blast. Our Senior Party lasted 3 days n nights. We played 30 years worth of Rock n Roll. Not All of our Brothers n Sisters made it. Their Names n Favorite Tunes were heard Loud n Proud.
I'm 52 now. My dad was gone working out of the country most of my life.... he was never involved and money doesn't buy a dad I became a drug addict. This song makes me cry everytime.... My dad was a better dad to sn adult child but still detached....
I had completely forgot how awesome this song was until I heard it on Peacemaker. I was instantly taken back in time and had a flood of emotions come over me.
I tried to forget about this song, my grandson was playing it too loud and it threw my pacemaker out of beat, I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
Dayum! No matter your age, some feel like associating that, this band always rock and are endless. Lots of work, great job/band. I could listen to this for an eternity. Live it!!
I remember watching this video back in the 80,s a kick ass song then and still to this day when a song can still get you after all these years it must be one of the great ones
I'm on my fiance phone and I have been following this band since I got a chance they definitely need to be in the rock and roll hall of Fame for sure they have got great songs and have been doing it since the early 80s and I have been there since the bathroom wall and when whipped came out I was blasting the shit oeuut of that album would love to meet them keep on rocking it
This hard to hear for me, even though I do at times, and saddens me for my kids when I left them at young age, especially my older son, whom now has Ms, sorry my babies for that pain I caused y'all!!!... 😔😞😭
@missdarlene7 What happened to My FINE and SEXY BADASS Lead Vocalist Taime Downe ‼️♥️ Sincerely Darlene an American Girl Who has a thing for drummers ❤️❤️❤️
Feeling this immensely, my Dad wanted to see me but it was the woman who gave birth to me that kept us separate, out of her spite... Damn this hurts, at 50 years old you would think I could get over it and just move on....
Yes i wood i hv 18 yrs no regrets u gotta do to B an msy become aR. Mo looking back its it giver good things can. Happen ..rember only thing thst holds people back is in there head. Bsafe. Mik
I'll be fifty in about 5 weeks. I can agree the pain can still feel as real now as it did then. My dad was basically a detached uninterested father. He'd work, come home and go hide in his shop in the basement. Work there until bedtime for him and he'd go to bed too start it all again. Then when I was a sophomore he kicked my mom and I out of the house. (My brother had just went into the military so he was gone) That still hurts, the feeling of betrayal and abandonment having your father kick you out. He's worked to repair the relationship but it's always in the back of my mind. This song was helped me through some tough times as a teen.
This song always hit home not having a father except an adopted father who abused me and finally hit the road now I'm stuck with the POS Last name never met my biological father and didn't know I had a sister my mom gave my grandma for adoption until I was 16. She'll always be my sister but my grandparents were parent figures to me more than my mom, her 2nd husband has always been abusive to me. I literally lived this song for those of us who lived it and it's powerful. I've been screwed up my whole life and got screwed up with pills and alcohol. But after that last overdose I was at my 10th overdose and I was miserable. I put the Time I spent in getting pills working 3 jobs to numb myself and put it in to getting help and still 20 yrs without drugs.
Seen them open up for Diamond Dave on the skyscraper tour in ft Lauderdale in the late 80"" when they came on stage and started playing someone took off there shoe and beaned the lead singer in the head he walked off stage came back few minutes later and said f**k you ft Lauderdale and the whole band walked
@ missdarlene7 I wish He would sing louder because I'm hard of hearing and wear a hearing aid ❤Sincerely Darlene an American Girl who has a thing for drummers ❤❤❤
Jesus, I got scared for Tami for a second Orca is behind him. It was a movie in the 70's if you don't know. I thought the band was going to be eaten. It is just the drummer which is good for the band but bad for him. No it's not fat shaming it's concern for a persons health and hope they can overcome their addiction. Stil though that dude is huge.
