ordered them today, i have the low profile older model, Primer and this Stream is based on Primer definitely. Have them for like 4-5 years now and they are still perfect :) I guess these will be the same quality :)

Hi bro, may i ask your opinion about salomon x ultra and la sportiva stream gtx. Which one do you recomend? I've salomon x ultra but not feel comfortable especially when down to hill and walking on the rock (feal pain on my sole, i think due the midsole so slim). I'm looking for hiking shoes better than my salomon x ultra. Do you think la sportiva is more better?
I can confirm all what this guy says after more then one year of use. The quality is top, comfort so so. They sole is too high and too hard. There is also no inner sole for adaptation of the foot-the foot is swimming inside and you should wear thicker sokcs. Best review of those shoes on UA-cam

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!
absolutely to be avoided for the following reasons:
1. they are unstable in the heel, I happen to take crooked series, at least 3 times every time I use them.
2. Goretex doesn't work on wet and rainy days and I always come home with damp feet and socks.
3. they are not comfortable, they have contact points inside the shoe, in my case on the little toe of my right foot.
They are absolutely not worth the money they cost, with that price you can definitely buy better boots..look elsewhere

Contragrip sucks. No grip at all on wet surfaces
I used Chinese shoes of poor durability on the way from Lourdes / Finisterre and they broke even before Santiago. never had such pitiful shoes
