P.S: We are more alike than different as African people ❤
On this episode I have Moipone aka Jollof Sisters Chairlady on TikTok who is a South African lady married to a Nigerian man. She talks more about her love journey, how she moved to Nigeria with her husband and how her husband gained SA citizenship.

Greetings Sistren from Florida, USA. I thoroughly LOVED this interview. Its the same way me and my girlfriends sit and chat here in the States. As an African American who plans to relocate to the Motherland, when I look at another black person, I don't care what country or continent they come from, they are my brother and sister. I hope within the continent, our people will begin to understand, to the rest of the world, all they see is African (black). They don't care what country you are from. Here in America, the dislike of our people is based on your race. They could care less if you are Nigerian or South African or Black American. The hate is real. Thats why we must understand...WE ARE ALL WE'VE GOT!! But once again...awesome interview! I felt like I was there hanging with you. One Love.
Thank you so much for watching 🙏🏾 we look forward to a united Africa because truly we are all we have 🙏🏾

This is so beautiful when love wins. All the best. It is refreshing to hear South African women married to foreign people and are happy. They don't start bashing South African men calling them names and what not. Just peacefully enjoying their love life in their foreign countries. Kudos to love love love.
Love wins ❤ thank you for watching 🙏🏾

Another thing ladies who are going into relationships with Nigerian men should know that if he'll say he wants a commitment out of your relationship you should know he is for real meaning they'll tell you their intentions even on the first day of meeting so if you're not real play far.
Absolutely...thank you for sharing your view 🙏🏾
A man who knows what he wants does not waste time. A cousin of mine who is been married to her Nigerian husband for 14 years said her husband said he wanted her to be his wife after 3 dates. Got engaged after 4 months of dating and got married 2 months later. In total they had known each other for 6 months. 14 years later, they so madly in love with each other. Family and friends who were against the relationship are now envious of their life

OMG I have seen this sister on tiktok, great interview again sis. 👏

Love the fact you lady's are honestly 🇳🇬
Well done Serame and your guest👍 I still wonder why people are shocked about us having assorted meats in a pot of stew😋I remember the first time, a South African friend saw me cooking rice and beans together, she was so surprised. Also Nigerians don't joke with respect. As parents, you even start teaching your children how to greet respectfully at a very young age 😃
The assorted meat in one pot was a big shocker and when my husband showed me how to cool beans and rice...that was so shocking but its so yummy 😋
I think with respect we're abit similar with our Venda culture, even the way we address elders the wording is different. I still kneel down when greeting my dad or serving him food. Respect is a big thing where I come from but Yoruba's own is on another level.
@@SerameAndBeyond True, most of the different food combination we have are usually delicious if it is well cooked. Another example is the beans and corn 🌽 combo. It might look somehow but it's actually yummy. Good to know that you have a similar culture in terms of respect. God bless Africa.
@@roselinemasetv we also have beans and corn combination in Venda, so yum 😋 we also add samp.
@@SerameAndBeyond Are you sure Venda is not an extension of Nigeria 🥰so many similarities.
But surprisingly when men finish removing see kin from a cow or goat they mix as all meat parts including intestines, heart, liver, mogodu (I had a Lesotho friend whose children called it funny staff).
Thank you for following your husband to Nigeria. Nigerians are too much in SA.
Thank you for watching 🙏🏾

You both are very beautiful, compelling women. I have been blessed to meet South Africans, and they are great people. I think Xenophobia is rooted in fear, which stems from ignorance. I really believe that South Africa and Nigeria can learn a lot from each other. South African men should not be put off by the showboating of Nigerian men. When you get past all the hype, you will find they can be great comrades. Let's not get mad at each other, nor feel threatened. Nigerian women are equally high calibre. Take your chance with them. No Nigerian man will be offended -- just make sure you save up because we have all kinds of fees. HA HA! Africa can unite to strengthen our position in the globe. Intermarriage is a wonderful thing.
Thank you so much for watching and sharing your views... Oneday Africa will be united 🙏🏾
@Uchenna Nwoau...please stick to Serame's content and keep your xenophobic comments out of this. You are messing up this video by your prejudice towards SA.
@@richardnaledi294 Richard, we are brothers. Please don't read my comment out of context. I was not specifically addressing South Africans when I characterized Xenophobia. There is Xenophobia everywhere, including Nigeria. Many years ago, Ghanaians were driven out of Nigeria because of the misconduct of a few people. At various times before that, and recently, Nigerians in Ghana have been on the receiving end. I am not even among those who clamor about racism. I trust in God who is the Father of all and above all.
@@uchennanwosu4625 Thanks for clarity. The impression you created was that SA men are fearful of Nigerian men and that we are xenophobic because of ignorance. I just think SA society is the most mis understood and hated in Africa, generally speaking. If people are not willing to learn and understand the history/truth behind our mindset/attitude then they should leave us alone bcos we don t even bother anyone in their countries, neither are we fearful or apologetic to anyone, including our government. SA is a fragile nation and on a healing process. Our country is under construction...We dont take crap from anyone irrespective of a person's stature in life. Be that as it may....you sound like a good man of God though. If you happen to be in Joburg lets meet for lunch. Much love and respect to you. God bless
@@richardnaledi294 Thanks for the reply Richard. I will definitely take you up on the offer when I visit. I do have a daughter (not biological) in SA. She used to be here in Los Angeles where I live. Her aunt is married to one of my bosom friends here. I hope to visit SA when the opportunity presents itself.
I went to boarding school with South Africans in Nigeria during the struggle against Apartheid. Daniel Eland, a South African, was my roommate in Federal Government College Warri in Nigeria. He was my senior by a class or 2. We also had David Radebe. David Karase (I hope I am spelling his name correctly) from Zimbabwe was my peer and also a resident of Unity House my dormitory. I believe all the South Africans were housed in Unity House. I am 56 years old and graduated from secondary school in 1983.
There is no excuse for misconduct by some of our people, however for a country of over 200 million, it is not unexpected that one will find bad eggs. However, the vast majority of Nigerians are God-fearing, hardworking people. Media tends to report bad deeds more often than good ones. Nigerians are very hospitable. The SA students in my secondary school had their meals prepared and served separately. Nigeria was prepared to war against the Apartheid regime. My late father a nuclear scientist was drafted by Nigeria's head of state in 1975 because of SA. Nigeria is undergoing economic hardship as a result of poor leadership. This has metastasized into societal decay that in particular is affecting a segment of the population. In all, Nigerians are decent people. By God's grace, both countries will turn for the better. Nkosi Si Kelele Africa!
Nigerians are misunderstood as well. Because we are a populous and diverse nation, we are extremely survival oriented and competitive. Nigerians are unperturbed by foreigners. Everyone is welcome and they naively take it for granted that it is the same everywhere. Nigeria is a land of contradictions. While there has been a mass exodus of our citizens around in search of opportunities, foreigners migrate to Nigeria in droves in search of opportunity and do very well. Some of the wealthiest Nigerians are immigrants.
Very strong and confident personality.
Absolutely 🙏🏾 💯
God bless you Serame for this interview.

The same thing happened to me I'm finding it difficult to make out time to teach my children igbo, but they can speak sepedi very well.

Legit Nigerian men are family oriented. If within a short period of time they met you and they're not talking about marriage, meeting your family, that may be a red flag. Typical Nigerian men would talk about these things, first.
If a Nigerian man insists on meeting your family, your Pastor, and your friends, he is legit... He loves and wants to marry you.
This is true. Thank you for watching and sharing your input 🙏🏾

As far as the black race and country is concerned, there's no country like Nigeria or Nigerians is the best African country. They can accommodate, tolerate and respect other race ,people , or nationalities they don't segeregate anthropologically .The problems of Nigerians within Nigeria are tribe and religion , but Nigerians love foreigners more than themselves . If you're lucky , ladies and you're married to a Nigerian you're favored before God. Thanks for the good work you're doing because I am into bi- racial and religious marriage and we are blessed with three wonderful kids loved by the both families despite racial and religious affiliations. Dede watching from Barcelona Spain .
Moipone has a typical Transvaal story, many of our relatives back in the day married immigrants, the only difference is that immigrants then didn't isolate themselves from communities, they spoke our languages, ate our food, attended whatever ceremonies we held; that ability to adapt goes a long way in removing prejudice(real and imagined). Her husband sounds like an open-minded person

In the Yoruba culture of the old, women can pursue their goals without restrictions. They don't appreciate it if a woman doesn't want to work and I understand the reason why many girls would say Nigerians are caring because many ladies in our society nowadays are mostly lazy and looking for men to depends.
Any man who they can depends on to "treat them well by paying all their bills" is the caring man.
