@scoot starr they did interact in MK9 story mode for a lil bit. And Kitana was a Revenant in MKX so that's why they didn't meet each other in MKX story mode.

I can't not believe they did my boy and girl,Rain and Mileena. I'm so excited and it's been while being excited for any fighting game announcement for me,especially with characters that i like a lot. I know that Rain and Mileena were top requested for awhile but a lot of characters were(like smoke,reptile,takeda,etc.)plus the trolling from ed boon on twitter and fake leaks didn't make me think these two would make it. So the fact that they picked my top 2 requested favorites makes me so happy. There definitely bringing me back to mk11. :) (also rambos cool.)

80's retro. But i am a veteran fan, and i really like origin characters, and origin story from John Tobias. Guest Characters are fun, but i never want to see them except in friendly versus matches. Many other characters from core story is missing. Quan Chi has three assassin girls, one of them is Sareena. Li Mei was in MK9 story, she is very cool monk girl.

@@pwpqwq7648 About the friendship one, yeah, I rethink about it, they don't need to remove Mileena from that Kitana's friendship. But it was dumb of NRS to give Kitana the Sai when MK11 came out, and they said that Mileena being a DLC was planned for a long time, not a abrupt decision because the Mileena's stans were threatening them or anything. Now they're stuck with making an unnecessarily abundant amount of Sai designs for both characters when they really didn't have to. And they already confirmed that they would not remove the Sai from Kitana's gear (I guess that's because it would be too much in-game coding and issues)
So the only bad thing is that they need to create more Sai variations? Hmm, I can live with that. I'm sure they won't just copy paste Kitana's already existing Sai designs, so it's even nicer that we are getting new ones

I love the designs for MK11 so much.
I’m so excited about Mileena and rain but definitely preferred the design and voice of both Mileena and Kitana in MKX. It seems more modern somehow. I just hope we get the best intros between the two sisters and if there’s another story extension, we finally get a showdown between the two 🙌🏻
