Great video. My kid is pretty fast(once he gets going)...but his upgright acceleration is slooooow Trying to show him that the first few steps are super important. Do you know of a fun way for a kid to use the "acceleration" part of your workout?
Do you count 10 yards when the sled has completely passed the 10 yard mark or when the front part of the sled reaches the 10 yard mark? This is just for my own general knowledge as I'm very grateful that the gym I go to does have a prowler...and I use it A LOT!
Paul Mason This might not be helpful because i don’t know if you‘re looking for substitute exercises or equipment. But i imagine you could tie yourself to a wall, a weight or a person and run while they‘re holding you back. You could also try weights with a towel underneath, if you have smooth floors and enough space. A treadmill can be used if the power is off and you force the band around or you could try isometric wall pushes. Hope this was helpful have a good day :D
get someone heavier than you to hold a belt wrapped around your hips and use that as resistance for sprints, still focus on the knee up toe up cue and if thats too easy go uphill
i dont doubt the sled will make you stronger and quicker depending on how you use it, but I dont see how this particular exercise and tool will not make you sore if it works you that hard or you work it that hard. What is the science behind that? I am not saying you have to get sore to benifit, but the body has to adapt to the stress regardless if its a bench press, a squat, curls or a sled or bailing hay, carrying roofing tiles up a ladder, or wrestling a grizzly bear, that body doesn't care, so how do you explain that?
very use tips sir. I regularly watching videos.
Best effort
Very helpful video, thank you! What brand is that sled, do you know if it is still available for purchase?
Is it only relevant for sprinters? Do you also profit for longer distances?
it's a great tool for distance runners as well!
Love yalls channel, super helpful! I would love to see a video on running with good mechanics with a running stroller ! Thanks :)

What are the bands for on the uprights? Can you push with them?
What do you do if you haven't got a sledge?
