And this sound is used for the C6, Monaro, GTO as max upgraded sound since they use the same engine. I don't understand why Black Box thought it was a good idea to put a Mustang sound to the Monaro and GTO as upgraded sound?

@@pradhanasurya8004 No the sound file is just from Aston Martin Vanquish and some of them in NFS Payback are leftovers from NFS Rivals. Just like for example GIN_TVR_Cerbera.gin (the M3 GTR sound) is just a sound but not 100% meant TVR was supposed to be in NFS. And Black Box just took some NFS HP 2010 sounds for NFS World and The Run so don't be surprised.
Payback Aston sound file feels really out of place both being different quality and volume wise to all other sounds. Its better to stick to existing sounds or if there are any extra sounds from Carbon instead.

@@lilpete_YT Probably another reason why is that it could be because only the exhaust sound was used without the engine sounds because this NFS doesn't support engine and exhaust sounds like NFS Carbon for example. And the way how the game process the sound.
@@pradhanasurya8004 Its just that NFS World uses its sounds horribly and cars have really messed up rpm and gearshifting behaviour. Same issue as modern nfs games from Rivals onwards. They have good sound samples but are used in a stupid and lame way. I wish they kept the sound system like in Most Wanted 2012.
I am still waiting for the update (if it's still wip) if not (if it's cancelled) then it's ok because I love this mod sooo much car sounds are one of the most important things in a racing game imo and these are great but do need some fixes like the rasps
Well but it has 2JZ-GE while the Supra has 2JZ-GTE. In NFS UG1-UG2 and NFS 2015 are the only NFS which the Supra is the SZ-R version a.k.a. the 2JZ-GE one. Also these sound files are there in NFS UG2 if you are curious leftover and used in NFS MW 2005 as well GIN_350Z_Jason_shrt2.gin (nis_350z_b). The only new 350Z/G35 sound in NFS MW 2005 is called GIN_G35_Ramp_V1_CD.gin (inf_g35_b) which is unused by default but we used it for the stock CTS since it was slightly closer than inf_g35_a to the 3.6L V6 CTS. I respect this mod, but nfs mw sounds were totally fine. If not, the best in all racing games. Just if somebody could switch from nfs 2012 to this one some sounds it would be great.
Honestly compared to NFS UG2 and NFS Carbon, NFS MW 2005 have rather bad "sound processing". And I won't say they are the best because of the flaws. Also most of the sounds are copied from NFS UG2 (when you realise this game's sounds 98% are shared with other cars stock or upgraded...) but thankfully at least less of them are copy and pasted.

Only if we make proper abk sounds but making proper abk sounds is not that easy and it is pretty hard. Even harder than making TMX sounds from GIN. And 1 bad thing some sounds ported from NFS Carbon and porting their abk sound is in resulted a muted sound. And most of other sounds are ported from NFS Pro Street/World and some Rivals and they don't have abk sounds like NFS MW 2005 and that the problem comes you have to make working abk sound. And also this game has pretty limited memory (for sounds) and using an existing abk sound and the decceleration sound that is different from the abk's decceleration sound results in muted skid, nos sounds and the decceleration sound don't work. And unlike NFS Carbon here you can put exhaust or engine sounds for the exhaust but not both which is stupid. We'll try to fix this in the future but for now we are busy with fixing NFS Undercover. The main point of this mod is to fix the generic inaccurate sounds so for the abk it might be updated at 1 point but I don't guarantee you when.
@@KanzakiZD Sorry if it was too much I had to explain where was the issue I'd assume. The main problem is the abk sound (that sound when you hear at the redline) is we use the existing ones that doesn't have matching redline sound and the abk sound contain other sounds like for weak/strong acceleration and decceleration and for example the Evo. The sounds for the Evo are ported from NFS World (mit_eclip_c) and the upgraded is from NFS Pro Street (mit_evo9_a) don't have abk sounds as I said (in TMX variant they are seperate not as 1 like the abk sounds that are used to boost these.) And we used the existing abk ones that are from Honda S2000 (stock hon_s2k_d) and upgraded (hon_s2k_d) and when mit_eclip_c and mit_evo9_a are mixed with these Honda sounds it gets a weird combination. If it is not from tha abk sounds the issue might be from the game the way that process the sounds but pretty sure it is from the abk sounds. If they got fixed the "corrupted" sound might disappear.

@@KristianLyubenovYT i figured out what doesnt let my cars shift up on auto, its because ExtraOptions has a NoRevLimiter thing, i turned it off and it worked like a charm. still the ford gt sound is missing tho
@@KristianLyubenovYT I know this is months old but with a little digging and tweaking in VltEd, I found the root cause, the for_gt_a and for_gt_b sounds do not work and are somehow corrupted but I can change the Ford GT's sound and it works with others. Too bad. I can't hear the amazing Ford GT tho...

Very artificial sounding. The sounds are very good but I can hear the effect of the sound being stretched and it hurts my head. I wouldn't be able to play for hours
There is a simple fix. You need to open NFSVLTED and on engineaudio choose the sound that you think it sounds quiet and increase GINUAccelVol and MasterVol. I recommend to set both at 49000. If it is too loud then at 44000 both. I mean these values I found that increase the sound high without the bug that when you pause it it gets stuck at 1 place.
They are pretty much fixed (only needs to be fixed to Murcielago - to 7700 RPM for stock). And for upgraded the RPM is higher than usual because it doesn't make any sense when you upgrade the car to have same RPM range as stock. But the problem is you can't add different tachometer with different layout for upgraded without changing the stock tachometer and make it less accurate.
@@m4lmg-playmaker154 I know it is a bit late but you reffer the ABK sound files, well not sure if porting some abk files from Carbon will work and fix the issue with "not matching the sound". I know some of them don't match well but as you know most of these ported sounds are from NFS Pro Street - World and TMX sound variants don't have ABK sound files. So the abk sound files are not changed from vanilla and that's why.

@@m4lmg-playmaker154 Well, that is the problem the abk files (for redline) from NFS Carbon neither work in NFS MW 2005. So the only fix is to make new abk files from these sounds and the issue it not easy to make from 1 individual sound to extract the idle, acceleration, redline, decceleration. But at least in the new update the Murcielago got the RPM range fixed for stock from 8000 RPm to 7700 not sure why Black Box put higher RPM range for this car especially the 911 Turbo S but at least all RPM ranges got fixed with the closer to the real one. So about the abk files not sure if they will be done any time soon because for now it is pretty hard to make (like making this GIN into TMX file for example but even harder). And that is the reason why the deccel soumds from the actual car don't work properly. But the more important part is done at least. There will be couple of updates so this is not the final so stay tuned.
@MrNoBody It only lags on menus. Ingame everything works for me. Also, Windows 10 is not for long. In December there will be Win 11. I wonder how older games will run on that.

I respect this mod, but nfs mw sounds were totally fine. If not, the best in all racing games. Just if somebody could switch from nfs 2012 to this one some sounds it would be great.

Honestly compared to NFS UG2 and NFS Carbon, NFS MW 2005 have rather bad "sound processing". And I won't say they are the best because of the flaws. Also most of the sounds are copied from NFS UG2 (when you realise this game's sounds 98% are shared with other cars stock or upgraded...) but thankfully at least less of them are copy and pasted.

Only if we make proper abk sounds but making proper abk sounds is not that easy and it is pretty hard. Even harder than making TMX sounds from GIN.
And 1 bad thing some sounds ported from NFS Carbon and porting their abk sound is in resulted a muted sound. And most of other sounds are ported from NFS Pro Street/World and some Rivals and they don't have abk sounds like NFS MW 2005 and that the problem comes you have to make working abk sound.
And also this game has pretty limited memory (for sounds) and using an existing abk sound and the decceleration sound that is different from the abk's decceleration sound results in muted skid, nos sounds and the decceleration sound don't work. And unlike NFS Carbon here you can put exhaust or engine sounds for the exhaust but not both which is stupid.
We'll try to fix this in the future but for now we are busy with fixing NFS Undercover. The main point of this mod is to fix the generic inaccurate sounds so for the abk it might be updated at 1 point but I don't guarantee you when.

@@KanzakiZD Sorry if it was too much I had to explain where was the issue I'd assume.
The main problem is the abk sound (that sound when you hear at the redline) is we use the existing ones that doesn't have matching redline sound and the abk sound contain other sounds like for weak/strong acceleration and decceleration and for example the Evo.
The sounds for the Evo are ported from NFS World (mit_eclip_c) and the upgraded is from NFS Pro Street (mit_evo9_a) don't have abk sounds as I said (in TMX variant they are seperate not as 1 like the abk sounds that are used to boost these.) And we used the existing abk ones that are from Honda S2000 (stock hon_s2k_d) and upgraded (hon_s2k_d) and when mit_eclip_c and mit_evo9_a are mixed with these Honda sounds it gets a weird combination.
If it is not from tha abk sounds the issue might be from the game the way that process the sounds but pretty sure it is from the abk sounds. If they got fixed the "corrupted" sound might disappear.

@@KristianLyubenovYT I know this is months old but with a little digging and tweaking in VltEd, I found the root cause, the for_gt_a and for_gt_b sounds do not work and are somehow corrupted but I can change the Ford GT's sound and it works with others. Too bad. I can't hear the amazing Ford GT tho...

Very artificial sounding. The sounds are very good but I can hear the effect of the sound being stretched and it hurts my head. I wouldn't be able to play for hours
it's all Most Wanted not playing .gin files correctly. If this was 2015/Payback/Heat it would sound way better

There is a simple fix. You need to open NFSVLTED and on engineaudio choose the sound that you think it sounds quiet and increase GINUAccelVol and MasterVol. I recommend to set both at 49000. If it is too loud then at 44000 both.
I mean these values I found that increase the sound high without the bug that when you pause it it gets stuck at 1 place.

Fix the redlines.
They are pretty much fixed (only needs to be fixed to Murcielago - to 7700 RPM for stock). And for upgraded the RPM is higher than usual because it doesn't make any sense when you upgrade the car to have same RPM range as stock. But the problem is you can't add different tachometer with different layout for upgraded without changing the stock tachometer and make it less accurate.

@@m4lmg-playmaker154 I know it is a bit late but you reffer the ABK sound files, well not sure if porting some abk files from Carbon will work and fix the issue with "not matching the sound". I know some of them don't match well but as you know most of these ported sounds are from NFS Pro Street - World and TMX sound variants don't have ABK sound files. So the abk sound files are not changed from vanilla and that's why.

@@m4lmg-playmaker154 Well, that is the problem the abk files (for redline) from NFS Carbon neither work in NFS MW 2005. So the only fix is to make new abk files from these sounds and the issue it not easy to make from 1 individual sound to extract the idle, acceleration, redline, decceleration. But at least in the new update the Murcielago got the RPM range fixed for stock from 8000 RPm to 7700 not sure why Black Box put higher RPM range for this car especially the 911 Turbo S but at least all RPM ranges got fixed with the closer to the real one.
So about the abk files not sure if they will be done any time soon because for now it is pretty hard to make (like making this GIN into TMX file for example but even harder). And that is the reason why the deccel soumds from the actual car don't work properly.
But the more important part is done at least. There will be couple of updates so this is not the final so stay tuned.
