I'd say those individuals that are currently laying in their eternal resting place as a result of Covid have regrets............people died. Many people died. The vaccine lessened the effects of the virus and in many instances prevented death. That's just a fact. I'm speaking as someone who has had Covid 3 times over the last 4-5 years. The fact that this health issue got politicized is very sad. This means that when the next pandemic hits (and there will be another!), we in this country will be in trouble because so mny don't trust the medical experts any longer. Very sad and quite ignorant to think you know more than scientists and doctors who dedicate their lives to the study of diseases, viruses, medicines, etc. Are there some unscrupulous folks in these fields? Of course! Do they know everything? No. That is why the act of treating people as a doctor is called a "PRACTICE". But I'll take their word over Jim Bob from Arkansas with a GED and a factory job. I'm just saying, there are experts who have knowledge and skill that should not be inored or dismissed.
I don’t. The entire thing seemed ok until they had the nyc mayor bribing people with burgers and fries. And then when Joe tried to force osha to make all workers take it. That was too much.
The first one had no effect on me. The second one made me sick for 36 hours. I absolutely regretted getting a third one because I was sick for 72 hours. There is no way I would get another considering that trend. I never got COVID until after I had all 3 vaccinations. I have no idea if I was better off for having been vaccinated and there is no one who can tell me that. The actual data on this subject is hidden from the public along with the real numbers of vaccination related injury. If it's beneficial, they wouldn't hide it.

What about cracking down on domestic misinformation campaigns? Like Biden saying it's a pandemic of the unvaccinated and that you wouldn't catch COVID or get sick if you get vaccinated. Will his administration be criminalized for pushing that misinformation?

No, because the answer is that all of these people are psychopaths - they are at the point where they don't even care if you know their hypocrisy or not. The examples you listed, giving a lecture on all of the things you should give before they hop on a private jet, etc. They will gleefully persecute behavior they don't like and excuse themselves of similar behavior.

She seems to think there's a free speech right accorded to the press, as long as the press is corporate and establishment approved. There isn't some right to free speech accorded to the press per se. There's an individual right to free speech, from which the freedom of the press derives.
Nomiki didn’t give any examples of “far right” platforms. I’d like to hear her reference those that she believes are far right. It’d probably be a vague answer like the usual suspects without being specific.
And you’re correct there’s no critique from her of MSM which is unanimously viewed as the most awful bias of all platforms.

Because a lot of people have never read about the side effects (unless they stumble across it in an uncensored forum); the information is still being censored by the major news outlets. All most people hear and read is " vaccines are safe and effective and anyone who says otherwise is crazy or lying."

It's only right leaning if you watch right wing content so not sure why she's doing that... I say this as someone on the left, I trust my comp sci degree and understanding of algorithmns and trust the math behind the algorithmn more than her. Like she'd need to be heavily watching right wing content to shift the needle right on the algorithmn. I reckon like most amateurs she forgot to count the impact of the biggest political channels on UA-cam, which are not in English, but do influence the algorithmn still, and they're not right leaning channels.

I don’t believe Nomiki’s algorithm argument. As a former web designer and seo designer, I say that she obviously doesn’t understand how seo and algorithms work. I’m a woman in my mid 50’s and all I watch are true crime and politics and that is all the recommendations of things to watch are. I’ve NEVER been offered a makeup video even though I used to make makeup tutorials a long time ago. When I do branch off and watch a music video, I get occasional music recommendations for a short time, along with true crime and political stuff but that’s the only time my recommendations change. She’s obviously watching SOME makeup videos at least sometimes or she’s not really getting those recommendations.
Somehow she also doesn’t understand that it is her RIGHT to not have to listen to misinformation or anything she doesn’t agree with. Take away that right and she will lose her ability to not listen to propaganda.
As others have said, i am sick of the wealthy elites trying to dictate what I should think and what im allowed to say.

She doesn't understand that you need a broadcast license to transmit over the air because that's how we manage the broadcast spectrum and prevent it from becoming unusable due to interference. She thinks broadcasters are given licenses because what they transmit is approved by the government.

The U.S. already has sufficient laws on the book in relation to speech, outside of those, it's a horrible instinct to try to select some arbiter of truth to determine what the public should have access to hear. This is a path to government and elite manipulation. For example, people who don't trust religion citing selective canonization or how people in the past didn't have access to it in their language, the possibility for manipulation by limiting speech in any other way is the same. Our government is becoming less and less transparent and leaning further and further away from policies that are in the interests of American citizens and the wealthy elite have an outsized influence on our lives. If there ever was a time to place the power of "right" speech in the hands of anyone (and I don't believe there ever has been), this is the least of those. Mark Zuckerberg admitted that the government pressured him to censor information. The right instinct is to allow speech within the framework of existing laws and let us as citizens work out the truth whether that's by education or discussion. The way that we've become so divided over politics is more of an issue than letting people speak freely. When you speak to people with differing perspectives you usually can get a lot closer to the truth than silo-ing yourself off and only going to sources that you think are like-minded. It says a lot about the character of people who want to infantilize us with less information and appoint themselves as arbiters of truth. I'm not of fan of censorship, it lets people rewrite history in real time. Based on what Zuckerberg said the current administration pressured him to censor, what if it was the Trump administration? That person that people like to compare Trump to, one of the things he did when he took power was to role back freedoms for speech. It's horribly naive and self-destructive to advocate for limiting free speech.

Why do we have people in the news media tell us about things they don't understand? I'd love Nomiki Konst who, as far as I know, doesn't have much tech knowledge, tell us about the scourge of bots and Russian disinformation. People like Nomiki Konst simply repeat the phrases they're told to repeat, which is why she has failed up in her career, despite not being very good at debating. And these people actually have power. From the media to our elected officials, the people who have VERY rudimentary understandings of technology are crafting narratives and legal frameworks for issues which they don't understand.
Fascists like Nomiki Konst are very dangerous because they're uninformed yet convinced of their intellectual and moral superiority. She even pushed the Fairness Doctrine, a completely unworkable idea that only a 5 year old could seriously think is workable.
Edit: Nomiki actually said "why doesn't Musk become a media company." What does that even mean? I bet she's fallen for that "Fox News is registered as entertainment, not a news company" thing you see online (there's no such thing as "registering" as a news channel lol).
