    That kick's name is Ura Mawashi Geri, if you make it to the front with your back leg.
    If you kick with front leg it's Kizami Ura Mawashi Geri.
    And if you attack to your backwards with front leg, the name is Ushiro Ura Mawashi Geri.

    Tambien si el pie de apoyo lo adelantas un poco ala derecha para hacer el giro te sirbe tambien como un mov. De ataque a diferencia de este q se utiliza mas como contra ataque y te sirve para acercarte al oponente... y si la circunstancias lo amerita usar un encadenamiemto o mas mov.

     Cómo se pronuncia
    I think it is necessary to bend and raise the knee to the maximum of the attack leg, so the blow is more powerful
    🤷‍♂️

    • @sway71
      @sway71 5 років тому

      With a back kick or rear side kick that would be true, but this "back hook kick" generates far more power from the spin rather than any leg mechanics. Some other martial arts generate extremely large amounts of power without bending the knee at all, using the leg like a baseball bat. Each variation has its own advantages and disadvantages though.

    karate guys should learn this kick from Tkd or kungfu to do it faster and correct way ; Ktd guys do it in very odd way and it is very inconvenient ; side parallel stance is the best stace to execute this kick correctly and quicker , open up Ktd and adopt the appropriate method .👍
