Thanks in advance, i hear this technique where erickson used to ask his patient to go to future where the problem was solved and explain how they solved it, in which book can i see tis technique in detail not the story of how patient solved it the technique being utilised in depth.
You are maybe referring to the belief that the unconscious knows how to resolve the issue so as a kind of ‘what if’ we are asking the unconscious this sort of question: ‘If the issue was resolved - what conditions would need to be in place to resolve it?’
