@@flamingomingo9810 and that's exactly what it does? the feathers can easily represent the national animal and her dress is like a cage, but all the feathers are out of the cage rather than within. the designer did the best look this year!
@@jayden-bc8zx i agree I love the dress but please tell me what eagle has feathers even remotely similar to those 😂she even said she was a sun at one point. Literally less than like 10 people actually understood the theme this year so it’s okay she did great

Yes, Emma's interviews do feel authentic. HOWEVER, what I am really missing is her engaging a little bit more with designers of the costumes - I would love to learn more about their inspiration and a thought process of creating each dress.

Yes and no - back when André Leon Talley was an interviewer he usually asked that question (especially when designer was standing next to the person wearing the costume).
