Thank you for the Reaktion ❤... Here is the Backstory of thus Song: "The song is about Josef Fritzl, who hid his daughter in a cellar and raped her repeatedly, causing her to get pregnant with her own siblings, until the case emerged in April 2008.
Some of the lyrics first appeared in the demo song Augen zu, which is musically a demo of Liebe ist für alle da, but lyrically is about the Fritzl case as well."

“Mein Herz Brennt” was the first song I heard from them back when it released and is still one of my favorites.
i used to speak a bit of german some 30 years ago but barely any these days, no matter, i love Rammstein, just raw , physical, powerful music, it gets my vote
Others have explained the back story, but also worth noting Till Linderman tends to write his lyrics from the point of view of the perpetrator. "Nobody can disturb down here, No one, no one can hear us No, people will not discover us" etc. There are plenty of videos out there that have English Subtitles burned in or supported in captions if that helps you.

"Wiener Blut" has a truly dark backstory....My suggestion for another Rammstein Live burner is: "Mann gegen Mann" (live in Paris) They perform on a absolute mini stagewith just a few square meters surrounded by the crowd. It´s an absolute burner with 190% energy! Try it :) ...cheers from germany!

As often, and as still mentioned by other viewers, there's a true story behind this Rammstein song. A sad story. A story too bad to be real. But it all happened. So, you shouldn't research for "The Fritzl case" in Austria, you don't really want to know more about this nightmare, believe me. Btw, my favourite Rammstein songs are "Mein Herz brennt" the piano version, "Weisses Fleisch" live at MSG (another nightmare story) and "Deutschland - the official video". Kind regards from Germany.

i believe the band got permission from the daughter to perform this and because the subject matter is so disturbing they dont use any pyro when they perform it
nice copy paste comment. first off as you can see the performance has pyro and second the whole permission story is made up (google it and you won´t find anything about it)

Its 'a little dark'. Er yes, its possibly one of their darkest and most moving songs and performances about a truly monstrous man. I shouldn't have clicked on your reaction because you never bother to find out even the most basic things about what you're watching. Very disrespectful and I'm not going to bother with this channel in the future.
