That was great.
You forgot to say that The airport is placed in Elche , wich is the 3rd biggest citty of the valencian comunity, 10 min in car from the airport. A beautifull city with lots of monument and old history and the biggest palm tree foresr in Europe
It is, but all people call it Alicante airport, since it's the capital of the región and bigger than elche, to use it as reference. We've filmed elche on our spanish channel: @EmigrarconAna

I will be travelling soon to spain and i will have to stay in this airport at night because i have a super early flight in the morning. I would like to know if it is safe to stay there and sleep a bit ? I am a female solo traveler and i am a bit concerned.

My flight will arrive to the airport at 23:45, is there any space where you can spend the night in the airport?
Can you not head to your accommodation? There is transport all night long, they also offer transfers. Directly at the airport there is no hotel, so only vip longer áreas, or just waiting halls. Outside airport there are also hotels less than 1km

Tourists know it more as Alicante Airport, since they orient to the nearest big city

Ana have checks completely stopped for unvaccinated. As would like to book if they have removed random checks 😊
There are no checks going on right now, all people I've met and asked coming from UK, didn't get checked, so it's up to you 🤷♀️
When I arrived at Alicante airport on the 7th september and after going through passport control, a spanish health team were randomly pulling people aside to check vaccination papers, but it was very rare if you got stopped (this was before picking up your baggage).

I’m sure there’s a lot of people who are uncomfortable flying alone, and even accompanied, try to distract yourself with something, think there are many people who also travel alone 💕
