Aizawa's quirk works on multiple people at a time, actually. As long as he can activate it while seeing you, he can essentially erase multiple quirks. See: USJ incident.

Basically. Waterbending is Hydrokenisis with a little bit of cryokinesis in it (the icebedning where they freeze the water), Earthbending (my favorite) is terrakinesis and metallokinesis (metalbending, although metalbending is a bit less general than metallokinesis), Firebending is pyrokinesis with a bit of electrokinesis (the lightning they shhot/redirect) and Airbending is Aerokinesis

Wizardporn2008 Simple, the rules of the test were to destroy or immobilize robots. His quirk is extremely effective in immobilizing, but he's bad in actual combat
The mangaka explained in a bio page. He placed traps in buildings and tight spaces and trapped many villian bots. His quirk isnt great for head on combat but as a trapping quirk it is pretty good

AGC Jaeger yup. He can control fabric so anyone who is wearing a shirt and pants could be taken down by him. He could also use his own fabric to take down enemies if they dont have any fabric on them

my guess is that when you register your quirk you just pick what name you register it under. i would assume that it’s a requirement that the name has something to do with the quirk, so it probably works pretty well. they could probably reject the name on your quirk registration but they probably don’t have to. hope this helped!!

I think Eraser heads quirk can be used on multiple opponents at the same time.In the fight with the League of villains many gunners tried to shoot Eraser head but all there quirk was erased.
Kakashi Hatake it can definitely be used in more than one person at a time
In resent manga chapters we learn a lot about how it works he CAN use it on more than one person, he also doesnt have to keep staring at his enemy if he erases a quirk and runs down a hall the quirk will keep being erased until he blinks. It used to be believed that if his enemy would no longer be erased if he looks away but its only until he blinks.
Kakashi Hatake maybe it counts for peripheral? Either way he’s My Hero’s Batman so I wouldn’t be surprised if he could do it

backdraft is a reference to a firefighter phenomenon, which occurs if a firefighter breaks oben a window to get into a burning building. if there was almost no oxygen in the room, then the room will fill through the now open window with oxygen again. this will lead to a burst of flames and is called a backdraft

Actually, Hydrokinesis is the technical term for Water Manipulation, just with Pyrokinesis with fire, Aerokinesis with air and Geo/TerraKinesis with earth. The words might have been inspired by the word telekinesis, but they do exist as their own.

it makes sense when you think about it, he has gone up against like...every quirk in combat and found out how to counter and beat all of them. he probably also has the best natural combat sense out of any hero
but what about the principal?
Mr. Aizawa’s quirk kinda works on mutant quirks. While, yes it doesn’t delete the mutations but it makes the user of the mutation quirk unable to use the mutations. For example, if Mr. Aizawa were to use his erasure quirk on Ojiro (the class 1-A dude with the tail) Ojiro would be unable to use his tail.

Well, he can't see them, so would he even be able to do that? It seems like a line of sight is required, which wouldn't be possible when invisible girl's body phases through photons.

*I wanted to say something about eraser head. He can actually erase more than one quirk at a time! Its shown in the episode where the league of villains invade the training centre. He also can keep his eyes open for a very long period of time, I think roughly 10-15 minutes is how long, maybe longer not 100% sure.*
