Being so close to the Elliot Lake Airport in controlled airspace, did you need special permission from the airport to do this flight?

Nope, it’s not over 250g and the software keeps you from entering controlled airspace, it literally won’t allow you to fly to close to the airport

@@EsotericLearning This was shot with a mini 2, if you check your dji fly app it will show you all the limits that apply for elliot lake, much of it is limited to 60m altitude and some of it is completely no fly. The rules are a bit relaxed for micro drones, once you’re over 250g it becomes more strict with where and how you can fly it.

@@EsotericLearning PS, I doubt the rumors are true that the mini 4 is right around the corner, mini 3 is still pretty much brand new and mini 3 pro isn’t that much older!!
