I'm so happy to come across your channel tonight. I'm inspired by your presentation about the Christmas Tradition in Poland. I hope and pray that the Christmas tradition will not vanish in Poland untill Christ return to take us home. I'm very happy for your precious commitment to keep the Christmas Tradition even with your future family. I wish you all the best for your life. God bless you richly in every area of your life. Shalom 🙏🙏

I am “Polish” by marriage in America. We celebrate Wigilia and have introduced “St Nicholas Day” with the gifts in shoes to our children. I am Of English ancestry so we celebrate an “English” Christmas on the 25th with roast beef. The best of both worlds and our children learn their heritage. Wonderful video thank you and God bless.

I'm glad I saw this. Her English is excellent, and her performance is graceful. I wish my Polish were a tenth as good as her English. I grew up in a Polish-American community in Connecticut and many of the customs were observed, e.g., breaking the opłatek, eating pierogi, and a meatless Christmas Eve dinner. Correction: Christians observe the Nativity on the 25th, but it is certainly not an article of faith that Jesus was born then. If the shepherds to whom the angels spoke were watching their flocks outdoors at night, it could not have been in December. That is winter in Palestine, and sheep were probably brought into a barn overnight, or at least a fold. Early Christians used a late December date for Christmas as camouflage, since pagans had a holiday then too.I learned this in a Catholic school.

Thank you! I was curious about how Polish Christians celebrate Christmas and it was nice to hear a first hand account. Much love from a fellow Catholic from India! :)

Thanks for the excellent video. Since I'm a Catholic Polish-American 🌏who's never been to Poland - and I REALLY want to go!!- it's fantastic and niesamowite (?? my Polish is HORRIBLE!!) to learn about Poland's Christmas🎄⛄❄🎅 traditions(ALL other Polish traditions as well!!) from a Polish native!! I REALLY liked the shoe👞 tradition!!
BTW ,we always have kielbasa on Christmas morning , SO I hope we're not breaking any " no meat" rules!! We also love midnight mass and open one (at least) gift on Christmas Eve.
Here's wishing you and your family a VERY Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! And... I hope you will continue to post videos in 2019!!
And ... Does Wesołych Świąt mean Merry Christmas in Polish?! PLEASE let me know, as it was JUST messaged To me by an American friend who's Irish, German AND Polish (how about that mix?!).
PS I JUST hope you didn't get any new tattoos FOR Christmas!! I just don't want you to end up looking like a Polish paint (or Sharpie) palette!! Just Kidding- it's obviously YOUR choice!!
PPS "Polish Paint Palette" is an alliteration, BUT you probably knew that already!!😀

    for good luck.
PS What's the meaning behind Unfocused?? JUST curious. If It's too personal, DON'T worry about it.😀 :-P

Prawda jest taka, że sensem i sednem świąt jest chrześcijaństwo. Co się świętuje jeśli nie narodzenie Chrystusa? 🤔
