Hi friends 💕😃If you would like to learn how to paint this flamingo - please join me on Patreon - a full tutorial with voiceover (+ tips, a sketch for download, reference etc) is available now at www.patreon.com/mariamorjane Happy painting 🌸🦩😊And thank you so much for your amazing support!
I've always considered you a good artist since I first started following you on UA-cam. But, you just continue to grow in your skills and I'm constantly amazed at what beautiful work you do. You handle the water so well. You captured the light on the back of the flamingo's neck, and the softness of the feathers is a wonder.
Je passe un bon moment à chaque aquarelle que vous réalisez, j'aime énormément ce que vous faites le flou, le mouillé sur mouillé, la précision finale c'est super !
OMG !!! It's impressive !!! I love everything, the technic, your gesture, the final result ! I wish you could see my facial expressions while I see the process. So admirative !!
Maria, that was beautiful. I agree with one of the comments below... the painting is more beautiful/creative than the photo. (No offense intended towards photographer). 💛 😊
I just love this flamingo Maria & thank you for sharing with us so we can learn too. Maria can I ask do you source your images from a royalty free source? If so can I ask what the link is? Thank you again.
Hi Denise, this is a fast forwarded version of a tutorial - so I must have forgotten to include the list of supplies, I apologize. I am using here Hahnemuhle's Leonardo Watercolor paper COLD PRESSED 280lb. Thank you.
Hi Denise, Hot pressed has no texture - it's a smooth watercolor paper (think of your print paper). Cold pressed has texture (I recommend it to beginners) and rough has the most texture. So if you are quite new to watercolors I recommend Cold Pressed 140lb. If you are panting with layers - you like to add more than just one layer - I recommend either Hahnemuhle "the Collection" (black and orange cover) or Arches. Not all 100% cotton papers are the same. It depends from sizing. If you paint on cellulose papers - colors will lift very easy, lastly please stay away from student/cheap watercolor papers 😊

Perfection Maria. It makes the photograph look rather drab and uninteresting although on it's own I'm sure it's not!!

Hi, do you use hot or cold press paper please?

@@mariamorjane hi I'm fairly new to world of watercolour, what is the difference for you between hot and cold pressed please 🙏?

Is very very beautiful. Eres seca con la acuarela. Greetings from Chile’s Santiago the country of earthquakes. 😅
☺️🦩🌸Thank you Maria
Seca? Qué quisiste decir con eso? Jamás había escuchado una expresión similar. Saludos
