This is the best discovery I made in the last two years music wise. The blend of blues and black metal is just the thing I needed but never knew I did.
There's no black metal here kiddo tis just southern rock music
Yes they have quickly become my favorite over bands I have loved for years
@@aegisraven1284 they are black metal as well have you listened theyr new album
@@ardeleanumaxi8054 it's not black metal. Sorry but you're uneducated. You don't just get to call something black metal because you want to.
@@aegisraven1284 and you can t say something is not black just because you want to buddy no go and listen you r true black metal kid
The drummer doesn’t get enough props. Marco Von Allmen is an absolute beast!
ahh fucking greeed
You would be correct sir
How is this band not more popular, they are amazing
cuz real talents usually arent really popular and they have criticism in their lyrics. and also bc of racism, unfortunetly.
FKN LIVE BEASTS! I am glad i discovered this band. Great musicians.
I couldn't explain Zeal and Ardor to a friend so I brought her to see them instead.
this is the way
This is the way.
This is the way
That was the way.
Easy to explain. It's southern rock. Nothing more nothing less
the most unexpected yet beautiful marriage of music genres, and that scream in row row... holy shit!
Row Row is my FAVORITE song of theirs. (hard decision, but when I literally woke up humming it, I caved.)
Unholy shit*
just discovered, and yes.
You realize that that scream is not his voice alone?
How in the hell am I just now discovering this?!!!!!!!!! WOW
My favorite thing about Z&A is how the guy decided to start making this music.
My favourite thing about Z&A is the music that resulted.
this singer has got to be the most dynamic who ever was. like holy fuckin shit...
I'm a Christian, and i love Jesus but this sounds so cool.
I was at this show. I remember it so vividly. The performance was one of the most immersive, awe inspiring I've witnessed in some time. The musicianship was so tight and in the pocket. The lighting worked so well for the aesthetic and mood. It felt more like a religious/spiritual experience than just another Camden gig. This band are incredible!
when you say "i want to listen something new and exciting"
Gospel, Blues, Dark Soul and Death Metal

I was there!!!! Was the best live performance I've ever seen! Amazing night! The sound quality was just spot on. Incredible.
why this doesnt have 40 million of views... this is fucking amazing
Come on down is even bloody brilliant live......you know its a good song, when it literally makes your whole body fucking shake with exhilaration... this song is like a bad stalker, it will never leave you alone :) so fukn goood performance
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Z&A live three times now. Got to hang with all the guys as well in NJ. Down to earth and just genuine people. Took pictures, signed auto’s, etc. Most importantly though, their performance always leaves me in awe. Such passion that you just don’t get from a lot of music today. Easily my new music obsession, and if you see them live, I bet they’ll be yours too.
They did a stateside tour earlier this year
Literally one of the most majestic bands of these modern times!
55:04 ok that was epic
I am immensely grateful the band uploaded this on UA-cam for everyone to hear and see. I still bought the vinyl to support, but having the visuals and wider accessibility is something more bands should consider.
I never heard of Zeal & Ardor before seeing them live at Hellfest 2018. It has become one of my favorite band since then. This show was so good and intense. Manuel Gagneux's voice is great. This band mixes everything I love about blues and metal.
I really hope that Zeal & Ardor will be around for a very long time. Anyway, thanks for this awesome music.
Never heard of them until Biden won. It feel$ like I was just at a concert, as it is also a warm Sunday, here in New Hampshire! Pure fucking magic.
I was here too ... it was incredible, no words in fact. Just a big slap in my face, my stomac and my soul.
I JUST saw these guys live in Lancaster, Pa. I had no idea who they were and never heard a lick beforehand... Blew my fucking mind! Absolute grand live show. And stellar guys who were super cool afterwards!
Do yourself a favor, and go see this band!!!
I was at that show as well. They were fucking incredible.
Built on Ashes is one of the most beautifully haunting songs i've ever heard.
Its hits me everytime
Whew, I'm exhausted, amazing band and concert, holy f**knick!!!
came for Blood in the River, stayed for the show! amazing band!
just discovered this band completely randomly , a song came up on my Apple Music and it caught my attention, I have been binging on this shit for days now, they are amazing good.
Just discovered you guys. My favorite band now... Can't stop listening Come on Down.
Me too. Fav new band, brother!
My thoughts exactly, but today is November 8, 2020, and I just finished the three albums, but am already in full fuckin garb and my candles are lit! Fuck Donald Trump! Hail Satan!
@@jasonjacoby fuck donald duck
its a creeper, it will never leave you alone...so fucking brilliant
The drummer is a beast
Just saw the show on Summer breeze and immediately had to come get more. What an amazing band!
This band Is insanely damn good fuck yeah !!!!!!
Didn't think anything could live up to the hype around this lot live.
Boy was I wrong, gig of the year probably gig of the decade.
When music gives you goosebumps.
this bad gives me absolute CHILLS. I've never heard anything like them.
To sound this crisp, tight and pronounced live. Stunning talent.
When I bought Stanger Fruit, it didn't came out of my car radio for 3 months straight. This is some seriously good music.
Curious, why did you buy the album initially, if you were planning on holding off on it? Nothing wrong, genuinely curious
P.s. respect that you continue to listen to them (saw their latest album on a playlist of yours); they're unique as hell, right??? Will have to a look at the rest of your list, given that you obviously have a sense of taste
@@sainttrish7544 I think you misunderstood my words, I was saying that it didn't left the radio player for 3 months straight, meaning I exclusively played this album for 3 months when driving, despite having a dozen other albums in my car. ^^
I agree Z&A is very unique. The idea is super original, and the execution is flawless imo :)
Thanks for the compliment hehe, if you tell me what kind of subgenres you like I could point you to some tracks.
Thank you Spotify, for recommending this.
Tickets bought.
Was so bummed we couldn't make the ATL show due to work. I want to see them live SO BAD.
Incredible band. Had the pleasure of seeing them in a rad little venue.
Wow...a friend is watching them live now in Oakland, CA and told me to check them out...I'm officially FOMO-laden...
Brutality, harmony and amazing songwriting...fuck, I'm in....
I loved Zeal & Ardor, after seeing them this week, yeah they one of my favs
The best band ever! Saw them with Baroness and Deafheaven and they blew everyone out of the water. Blu ray is needed. ❤️
Scarybear 70 saw baroness in 2010. Amazing. Better than mastodon.
Scarybear 70 - not a big deal to blow baroness and deafheaven...both are simply boring and highly overrated.
GodsColdHands Agreed!
Saw that show in Vancouver and thought all three were fantastic. But Z&A were the highlight for me, as well.
Agree. Mind blowing. What a line up. Happy I was fortunate to see such bands together on one night.
Damn, those vocals are killing it.
Cant wait to see them with meshggah next year!!!
Men his voice is phenomenal!!!!
In Ashes is the best intro song for the ones attending for the first time. It's so shockingly good
In a time were being original it's almost impossible, we get this amazing project. Thanks Z&A
I was trying to reinvigorate my work colleague's interest in "metal" and I realised that Z&A is the perfect band to recommend to him. There's a formula for sure but the results are like nothing else that I've ever heard.
I NEED this on Blu-ray
Just watched and met these guys Friday at the Epicenter Festival, fucking EPIC....
We need a South America tour. Aka please come to Brazil.
Yes, PLEASE.
please...
PLEASE
Come to chile PLEASE
Vemmmmmmmm
That haunting scream at the end of Stranger Fruit, I love it!!!!
Beautiful! Incredible! Outstanding! There are other words that come to mind but god damn is this one of the best performances I've not witnessed first hand! Chef's kiss the the camera techs, audio techs, lighting techs, and last but not least -- the performers for making this performance and video truly remarkable! I know I've gone beyond fanboying but dammit, I love it!
I’ve followed since the get go. I love how the whole premise started from an insult?which turned into the most genius metal I’ve ever heard. Fuck yes keep it going!!!
48:22 gave me chills
Their show in Richmond, Virginia was fantastic, you really need to see these guys live.
Omfg if this isn't the best live in decades!! Studio material is not nearly as good, this is such a pleasant discovery, loveit
I'm sad that the Eric Andre show is over, but I'm glad to see you started such an awesome band. I got to see you guys in SF in March, fantastic!
Wtf? Eric Andre has nothing to do with zeal and ardor.
@@martinglase8844 It’s a joke, Manuel Kinda looks like Eric Andre.
@@sunbirdocto.8437 also both are insanly creative and entertaining
Such a good band. I really want to see them live
Clearly one of the most iconic bands of '10s!
Come to Russia!
Катаются сейчас разогревом Behemoth.
@@Bubonick. вот ведь кому то везёт. Застать две легендарных банды в одном месте. Ради этого стоит жить.
One love!
Not in these days :(
@@sainttrish7544 not in a long time
It's super cool seeing Gagneux getting a live show after listening to his stuff since Birdmask! I hope you continue to thrive!!!
They're even better in person
Beautiful performance

Few weeks ago seen these guys at K.Ks Steel Mill west midlands Uk ,omg enjoyed every minute ! So worth seeing ..
For some reason I'd love to hear a Z&A track featuring a piano
Gravediggers Chant my friend
I just can't wait to seen them in my city next month
Listening to them was a mental explosion to the soul. His style and beautiful combination of styles. Thanks for existing ♥ ARG
Great band
Black Metal Gospel...bring it...I'm ready. Fuckin hell this is good....
Powerful stuff
Best live album I've heard in years, riveting performance. Truly unique art.
33:59 ... Extremely good band.
seriously new fave. holy moly, straddles the lines like I like, which is not terribly common.
Loved seeing you guys in Atlanta. Best live performance I've seen in my 32 years. Please come back soon.
Que gran descubrimiento esta banda! Saludos desde Argentina
das lichtspiel is so genial.. und der eine backgroundsänger hat wohl ne halswirbelsäule aus gummi, soo geil XD
hoffe, sie bald mal live sehen zu können!
Manu´s musik is SEX PUR!
...so unigue... intense... soulfull... music.. i hope that there is much more to hear and see from you..
Thanks for putting this up!
Saw you last week at Summer Breeze, your sound was amazing.
Manuel Gagneux, This mans Talents are limitless! 🤘
Holy shit, thank you so much for posting this. Was an incredible show! So glad I was there. Bring on ArcTanGent!
I've seen them live twice now and it was terrific both times. This recording is a perfect representation of what to expect.
Good gawd this gives me goosebumps
I showed this concert to my toaster, now it's a particle accelerator
I remember I was always iffy on zeal. And than I saw them live when they opened for deafheaven baroness. (Baroness sucks btw) I didn’t expect much but hearing them live zeal blew my mind I thought they gave an awesome performance and the very next day I was listening to them all day
Eine Offenbarung. Was ein virtuoser Musikmix!
Капец, конечно, какая энергия у ребят!
Honestly, what am I supposed to watch after this? 😆
Some Igorrr, Devin Townsend, or Animals As Leaders.
This is amazing. Can't wait to see you live in Norway🤘🤘
Saw you guys at Fullforce 2019 Medusa beach stage. I hope to catch you on a Festival in Germany again, love your vibe!
Ask the dark lords and you shall receive. I was falling asleep in a hospital lobby, wishing for something to keep me awake. Thanks, Satan.
;)
Damn, you guys are good. Like really good.
Saw this set live in Leiden, the Netherlands. I had been pumped to go for months and got sick on the day of the concert. Funny how you don't feel the nausea and aching when your knee-deep in a crowd of head banging people :-)
Seeing them this weekend! So excited!
Wow, just wow
Can't wait for you in Vilnius, will be a blast.
Add Scotland to your tour again, please. Also a meet and greet.
Holy shit. Amazing. Exactly what I've been looking for. Come to MN again boys, I need to see this live.
la Suisse s'exporte, trop génial ce groupe !
