I’m a hairdresser 👍 from 🇬🇧 I have well over 30 years experience (I’m getting old now 😩) I’m gonna give you some advise on where I think you are going wrong so you can improve a little, it’s all practice at the end of the day and we all start somewhere including hairdressers 😃 just Dont wreck your hair in the process
1. do NOT…and I mean NEVER put any type of oil, coconut or otherwise on your hair before colouring/bleaching as this will create a barrier and the colour will not penetrate or strip the tones out of your hair shaft. It will not protect your hair in any way during the bleaching process it will just not lift half as light as you want. If you want something to protect your hair buy olaplex 👍
20vol peroxide is good 👍 never use 30 vol with bleach, 20vol will lift it, it just takes longer to lift but this gives you a little extra time to apply it correctly
2. Your sections are wayyyyy to big/thick for the length and thickness of your hair, on bleached or coloured hair your sections need to be very fine and you have to make sure all your hair is completely saturated by the product or again it will turn out very patchy….. you need to apply a lot more product and more evenly. If you take your time to use smaller sections the application time will probably be faster as you don’t need to keep going over the same section of hair and it will turn out more even….but You have to be fast when applying bleach, it’s always best to do one half of your head and then set a timer so you can rinse it off first before the top is done…. Say it takes you 30 mins to apply the bleach on the back of your head, then another 30 mins for the top, then you leave the bleach on for 30 mins… the back/underneath of your hair has been processing for 1 hour and 30 mins which is way too long
3. Nowhere near enough product, you would have been better to saturate as much hair as you can and leave the rest to do another day when you have enough product… bleach is a powder and if there isn’t enough product on your hair it will dry out and stop lifting, but it will still continue to damage your hair
A big tip for next time…. Your natural hair colour is quite dark and you may need to bleach your root twice to get the same level of lift as you have now…. Only bleach your root growth… DO NOT overlap any bleach onto the already blonde hair not even for 10 mins, you have said that you have already had 3 colours on your hair plus a toner (I hope this was 10vol and not 20vol as 20vol is for a permanent colour not a toner) so your hair is already highly processed and if you continue to apply bleach over already bleached hair you WILL with out any doubt run the risk of breakage…..
If bleach is left on too long or is overlapped multiple times it has the same effects as hair removal cream that you use on your legs 😳😳
Stick with 20vol peroxide on your roots ONLY…. Please please please do not go over these ends again with bleach…..Fine individual sections is a must ….as a colour guide, when you check the colour on your roots scrape a bit off the roots and if it is as pale yellow as the inside of a banana then your good to wash it off but be careful it doesn’t go too white as this is what wrecks your hair.
Buy some olaplex to mix in with the bleach if you truly want to protect your hair whilst being so light or preferably go to a salon and get them to do it professionally

is only ONE piece of advice for her - the chemical color must be removed using a product without bleach, peroxide and ammonia, with a sulfur-based product (color oops, subrina eliminator, etc ..;) not bleach
Love the advice and I'm terrified to bleach my own hair.
When you said looks pretty good, i was thinking the same.. a little damaged and dry but a good base colour!! it turned out gorgeous, you look glowy! after all of it you pulled through x
I looks a little over processed, some deep protein and moisture treatments should help. #1 Rule is: If your hair is longer than chin length get a professional to do it.
I just don’t understand why ppl just don’t go to a professional. It costs more but shi I’d rather pay it than watch my hair die and fall out.

Its very yellow and brassy. Purple shampoo will neutralise that making it a softer blonde.
You'd need proper toner for that. Purple shampoo is more for mainenance once you reach the right shade.
Yellow hair is the most beautiful hair colour never use purple shampoo aur toner on hair as it makes the colour bad

Just apply the bleach with your hands. This is to painful to watch. Your not using enough bleach.

I disagree i think it looks amazing with her darker brows and warm skintone lol it makes her already v pretty eyes look very doll-like too
