Wowzers on the beach glass! I’m three blocks from Lake Superior and NEVER find it. I actually bought some at an auction several years ago. I need to go to another town where there are more rocks. We’re in a barron area for such things, apparently. Beach glass envy, here! 😊❤
@@debbiesavage7107 so here’s the thing. I watch a LOT of mudlarking channels and I envy THEM. 🤣 maybe there is a Congo line in of glass envy? We don’t have 600 years of using the Thames as a garbage dump. For me - i have to go to established beaches where there have been decades of yahoos throwing in or dumping overboard bottles. Glass (and other stuff) is where the humans are. Then again you might luck out and find a plate from the E Fitzgerald. Also… I am amazed that people auction off Seaglass. Wow. Was there anything special about the glass?
@@redparrot9489 No, nothing special, just very cool. It’s kind of frosty like it’s got powdered sugar on some of it. I told you i’ve never (NEVER) found any. When i pulled the bag out to remind myself what i have, i remembered that i did find ONE small piece many years ago. I set it on top of the pile, thinking i’d be able to find it and remember which piece it was, but no, i can’t. Such a goober, sometimes. I just love beach glass! There’s light green, dark green, brown, white and a few blue. One piece, that i noticed, has partial words on it. I think it’s part of the ingredient list. At the auction, there were several bags of glass. I only wanted one. The other bidder took the rest. I should display them.

The best sea glass mudlark channel is Scottish Mudlarking. It’s a husband and wife team and she makes sea glass jewelry. She is where I learned how to drill glass. 💕💕💕
