Tommy is NOT The Only One that Can't Swim in The 3D/PS2 Era. GTA 3's Claude, GTA VC's Tommy and GTA LCS's Toni can't swim(3 White Guys). GTA SA's CJ and GTA VCS's Vic can swim(2 Black Guys). I guess Rockstar think white people can't swim. lol
Game: GTA6 Characters: Tommy Verseti & Niko Bellic Missions: 117 Main heist: Four leaf clover Main heist payout: $120,000,000 Please: Vice city & liberty city Year: 2005
This game actually got me into metal and introduced me to so many bands like Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth, Tesla, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Alcatrazz. Although this game made me a fan of most 80s music in general. I even like the pop and soft rock as well.
I have the same experience. I was thrilled when I found out that my dad had Stay Hungry on vinyl since I had heard I Wanna rock in Vice City. I also bought Slayer's Reign in Blood, and Powerslave by Iron Maiden thanks to Vrock. Many pop songs are my all time favorites even today.
Olli Lehtonen And even though no one ever talks about Vice City Stories, that game has a just as kickass soundtrack. That's where I first heard Balls to the Wall.
@@michaelhall736 Yeah! Vice city stories is strangely underrated. I think the music is even better than in VC mostly due to the fact that the VC soundtrack has been heard so many times. Accept is great. Moreover it is interesting when I tal to my friend who was a child in the 80s about the songs in VC he does not know many of them. I reckon that some artists and singles that were big in USA was not that big in Finland in the 80s. For example Out of Touch by Hall & Oats was not as well-known as Maneater featuring onnVice city stories.
The best thing i love about vice city is how weapons work like when you hit somebody in the hand with a handgun you can kill but nothing happens to the hand but if you do that with an assault rifel you can chop the hand and another thinng is when you kill someone and a white line appears where it died its like a detective movie
Hearing u describe yourself playing this game at 7 years old and describing how when you hear a song from the soundtrack in real life makes you think of vice city. Sounds like we had the same childhood. Cause I do the exact samething. Cheers to many great memories in vice city! ( I’m a huge gta fan as well)
Vice city is my fav! This game was my first gta! The characters, the environment, music, 80s time, cheat codes, quotes that I still remember to this day, variety of weapons, and many more! And i played gta vc first time as a kid and I didn't know how much adult content this game had lol. I still play it sometimes!
The music is just all so damn good. The atmosphere is vibrant and really makes me feel as though I’m driving a motorcycle through the city of Miami. The voice acting is my favorite of the GTA series and it’s just a flawless game for me.

I see I’m not the only one thinking of billy jean song as one of the main songs in this game every time I play the song it brings me back to the good days when I 1st played this game and other good times back then
It had everything to make it an artistic masterpiece. The voice acting was the best in the series, along with the characters, especially the protagonist, THE Tommy Vercetti. It had one of the best soundtracks in any game I have ever played, and the setting, tone, and atmosphere were untouchable. The story was top notch. The taking over of an entire city by taking control of some awesome businesses, such as Malibu Club, Pole Position, a film studio, a mansion, a boatyard, etc. was a ton of fun. Also, the rampages are an amazing addition to the game and probably one of the most enjoyable things to do outside of the storyline in any GTA game. The vehicles were amazing and fit the theme to perfection. This is my favorite video game of all time. GTA SA obviously had the most depth to the game and imo the best pure gameplay, but Vice City was the most well constructed and most complete GTA game in my opinion.
For some few months ago i found an old used ps2 copy of vice city with the poster girl perfectly intact. The game runs fine and i love the soundtrack but some of the missions just frustrates me. But on in all it´s a good game :) And i love the "faggio" one of my favorite vehicles in the game.

My favorite thing about Vice City is definitely the overall setting. Great time period for a GTA game and the 80s is already one of my favorite time periods
Which was the perfect outcome. Why would we want Tommy to make a pointless cameo in San Andreas like they did with Claude? His story was perfect the way it was, we don't need to know what happens afterwards.
