I lost my dad last year on the 5th of December and I was a daddy’s girl, he even personalised his car number plate to my name. Landiwe my whole world fell apart , death is inevitable 💔 I’m so sorry for your loss my love, sending the warmest hug🫂❤️💕one day at a time💕

I lost my dad 2017 and my mom in Jan this year and the best way to describe it is that you just feel unanchored and it really changes you ❤
I lost my dad in 2011 and it’s honestly the worst thing to ever happen to me. I still wake up in tears till this day, it’s a horrible horrible feeling. I’m so sorry for your loss Landzy. I understand exactly how you feel. You’re not being dark at all, it really does feel the pits of hell on a loop.

Yho experiencing a loss is so different, you even start being sensitive and crying when you see people lose their loved ones even on social media 😭people that you don’t even know sana, even when you see someone get knocked by a car or even hear someone get shot nje, it all just becomes feeling so heavy and you sympathise so much 🥺, even attending funerals as someone whose lost someone is different, you know how to carry yourself nje unlike some people who act as if funerals are events you know…so sorry for your loss Landzy, you probably won’t heal but coping gets better and better ❤️

No amount of words can help one get over the loss of a loved one it just gets better with time. May God be with you and give you strength babe❤️

Last week was the anniversary of my Mom's passing, it was incredibly hard, in fact it felt as if I just found out about her passing all over again. Time does not really heal, it's a wound that never heals. I chose to go through it alone, I'm glad your friends were there for you Landzy, you're truly blessed❤

Landzy i relate, lost both my parents, the most one that hit so damn hard was my Mom's passing in 2020 due covid and guess what years later,literally 5 years later i havent made peace, i still get emotional 😢❤
I lost my mom when I was a child and I never really knew what grief felt like because I was way too young to understand but now sheesh it hit me so bad when I had my first child I realised just how much I needed her in so many ways. I know you will be okay because some days are better it will take time but all will be well I know your dad wants you to be happy and for you to live your life to the fullest he's your guardian angel now.

I resonated with the part about grief,damn that thing is not nice. I lost my grandmother Good Friday of 2022 and every year since then it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions especially when Easter comes around. The sadness is unmeasurable but we will be okay ❤❤
