But the most admired team in the loft were the "English Button Head Tipplets" , these birds would snap into a spin and hit the pins (high above the clouds) where the air is cooler, then go routing from the west side to the east across the Bx. After 40 yrs i returned to my island. Its hard flying down here due to the falcons and hawks, "hasta los gallos de pelea" have a hard time. I noticed your coop is constructed lightweight, back in the day we had our coop's lined in steel hard covering, with steel doors and cross bar's and locks in order to prevent being turned off. You have a clean loft, keep em flying.
Nice loft/ coop. That's great that none of those people mess with you. The neighbors. It's a shame that more people can't keep pigeons where they live. I'm 62. When I was growing up in northern NJ just 20 minutes from NYC, we had guys with Homer's and Tipplers and fancy Pouters and Fantails, etc etc.

Nice birds! We can't do tipplers, tumblers or rollers here. The Cooper's hawks and merlins clean them up real fast. Only racers have the speed and muscle to outfly them.

Those big buildings kill the view, but you gots to do what you gota do. Chilling on your lunch break. I used to be a Super on 47th street and 10th but the Blancos had access to the roof to sun bath so I never threw up a stock, plus it was too busy there.

Frank, very nice looking birds. One thing, either they are in very poor shape, or more likely from a short toss like i just watched, they have a respiratory infection. Put them on Doxycycline 20% for 14 days man, and watch the difference.
