Reminds me of being an 8 year old kid with my grandfather (pepere) we use to have lunch by the tracks in newington ct off cedar street. Good times. Simple times. Now I’m doing the same stuff with my kids up on ragged mountain.
Hello, this video was one of my favorites years ago. Nature, great music, you 2 Sensational as always, just great and entertaining. Stay healthy, keep it up for a long time, and greetings from Germany!
Disiz exactly what i gonna do here, in Russia- 2 be a hobo like this boyz going along the railway with old linen bag hangin' on the pine stick, looking like an old grandpha, then stoppin' 4 rest eatin' the food like these boyz do.... Wonderful weather, wonderful place, awesome old railway....and being smoked with the smoke from the 🔥... Thank u, guyz, for the video❤
Oh, that takes me back. Haven't had Hobo Stew since Cub Scouts in the early 70's. BTW, I've been looking all over for that "canned bread". Was always a favorite. They don't seem to sell it in the PNW anymore.
I'm sure that wasn't the point Johnny boy but thanks for telling us about your service on the railroad like that really matters either...I'm sure they paid you very well big man
There's a voice keeps on calling me Down the road, that's where I'll always be Every stop I make, I make a new friend Can't stay for long, just turn around, and I'm gone again
Funny that someone actually tried to hack you guys! LOL. As many viewers and subs that ya'lll have, they thought they could get away with it cracks me up! That aside... Great cook felllas. Im glad ya'll got the bastard. Cheers :)
How about some peaches or sliced, peeled apples? I did a foil pack of sliced apples, walnuts, chopped, brown sugar, and cinnamon, along with miniature marshmallows. The Boy Scouts loved it.❤❤❤
Nahh.. don’t think so. A real hobo tosses it wherever he wants. He doesn’t pack unnecessary garbage . There are very few Hobo’s anymore. You ar3 thinking of the millennial Hobo that wants wander a 1/2 mile from civilization and pretend he’s a Hobo and to save the world.
I've been a hobo most of my life at me and my friends always rode two trains not walk with tracks what's the point in Walking where you'll have a ride coming by eventually
This is one of my favorite videos from you guys. Glad it was reposted!
The end gives me manly tears 😢
We make these every year at deer camp with fresh backstrap. Only we use the cabbage to wrap everything and cook it with some butter chunks. Amazing
hunting season opens soon.. we're overrun with White Tail.
on the menu
Great episode with a different twist. I love it!

I worked on the railroad 42 years. I never once saw hobos , cooking on the side of The tracks.
Too young. Maybe if you on the railroad in an additional 25years prior.... Lol
Different era. Come on now.
I'm sure that wasn't the point Johnny boy but thanks for telling us about your service on the railroad like that really matters either...I'm sure they paid you very well big man
I’m assuming the hobos were already cooking, on the train.
If you saw them next to the tracks then it was to catch a train 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
unless you're from the American Civil War era, or lived during the 20's - 30's Great Depression you're unlikely to see them..
Man this got that old school feel👍👍
Damn this hobo pitmasters eating GUD!👍
There's a voice keeps on calling me
Down the road, that's where I'll always be
Every stop I make, I make a new friend

Wouldn't it be funny if Hobo Shoestring would have came by.
So depression era hobo's had portable webbers? Cool

Funny that someone actually tried to hack you guys! LOL. As many viewers and subs that ya'lll have, they thought they could get away with it cracks me up! That aside... Great cook felllas. Im glad ya'll got the bastard. Cheers :)
Good job people need to know the way it was riding the trains and meeting up in the camps
