Modifying a C7.5 Airbox to fit my C7

I wanted to keep the stock look under the hood, but the normal C7 box is ugly. Luckily they changed that for the C7.5s. So I bought one and cut it up to fit around my methanol pump to give it a stock look.

Hey, i know this is an old video. But was the C7.5 box bigger by volume compared to the old one?

Close the bottom of the box. It’s going to let unnecessary heat in. Plus what ever extra dirt into the filter. Get it all back to the front fresh air scoop. Nice progress I’m gonna need a ride soon. And a ride in the Syclone.

Did not running an air box hurt your performance due to heat?

Now that it has headers with no heat shield I am making the assumption of yes.
