I was robbed 2nd August Palma nova 1.30 -2am I has fractured skull and a Hematoma. They according to doctors used a metal bar or hammer from behind as the skull cannot be broken with a punch . 4 inch fracture. 5 days intensive care. Clinica Rogter hospital. Arrived home Sunday . I have no driving license now and 3 months no work or any activities. It’s a beautiful place but do not walk alone like I did in the early hours . The police do not want this known as they want the tourists. I wish I’d known before I went
@@CRAIGT1971 Morning. I will never know. I’m in a bad place at the moment and I hardly sleep as they will not give me anything to sleep as it confuses the brain. The only thing I want to point out is my family flew over to me as I was told I may not make it so the Hospital called them . They said (family) at their hotel they seem the police taking money from the massage people on the beach then letting them go so if that happens to a thief it will never stop as that would suggest the police are in the make . Taking their earnings basically and then letting them go my family was watching constantly to see how things are whilst in was in intensive care as only one hr visit a day
the bag WAS unattended, don't blame someone else for your mistake. you left your stuff and went for a ''little wonder'' Who does that, especially abroad??
The bag wasn’t unattended it was with my family as we said they came up from behind, someone stealing money and personal belongings from you isn’t your fault that makes no sense? We just know we’d never put belongings down on the beach again, and as everyone puts they’re bag down at the beach, we just wanted to give people a heads up/reminder
Only thing you leave on a sunbed or around the sunbed is your TOWEL and BOOK to indicate that the spot is occupied. Thieves look for bag; take whats valuble in it and then bin what isn't. They dont want a book in english and a damp towel!
Sorry to hear this the main thing is that you all are ok and didn't get hurt I hope you all enjoyed your holiday despite what had happened and find my iPhone can be a life saver I love it xxx
Its crazy to think people make a living out of this they have skills yes please be aware good to know they pray on us letting us guard down 😊 glad your ok stuff can be replaced at least ❤
Just for future reference if you go back to PN, I believe Calvia council are finally adding safety boxes to the beach parasols this year, so you will be able to lock away anything important 😀

Why take your cards and valuables to the beack ,was there no safe in your room ?
