They are two different styles. But if you really truly knew about music you would like all music and not just one type of music from one type of people.

I got to see John Lee at the Fillmore in 1997. The show was supposed to be Booker T's band backing John lee, but Booker had a family emergency and had to leave town. Carlos filled in for him. It's one of the top three shows I was at!

First heard Mr. John on Hooker and Heat. What a great album. Canned Heat took a back seat to the legend. That made the album shine. Boogie Chillen; just a masterpiece. Carlos compliments him superbly
