If not, is it worth the pain to see your children cry? Does it hurt when they ask for Daddy? So many of ABBA's songs sound so sweet and sugary on the surface but do people actually ever listen to the words of the lyrics and the actual message? This 1975 minor hit haunts me to this day.

Yes it's based on a women's lib movie Björn saw in '74 called Helen, Woman Of Today about a woman doing the (then) unthinkable and going about her life single without the support of a man! Commonplace 50 years later but kind of frowned upon then, as you can hear in the slightly negative subtext of the lyrics.

the first time I heard this song I felt if as it was familiar to me in som way cause it reminded me of something and then it hit me the fist cords and the first drum beat in the intro reminded me of living after midnight by Judas Priest Even though that song is not the slightest similar at all and much faster and recorded 5 years later
