Love the green lady figurine. She is very reminiscent of Goldscheider figurines though those are usually stamped on the bottom. Whoever the manufacturer is they hit a home run with this one. Beautiful.
At 4:40 that coffee percolator is way cool. My family thought I was weird picking my aunt's percolator out of her things, but she loved coffee and always welcomed you to her kitchen table with a cup and a pastry!

Hey Andrew, about that ashtray, think international buyers. Here in Canada, they have put into place so many new rules for cig packaging. The cigs also seem smaller and most brands only come in small 20pks. It did look like our small flip top pack would fit into that ashtrays compartment. Just a tip, love your work 😆. 🇨🇦

Right next to the Plytog silver, the 2nd thing you grabbed, were 2 turquoise bowls. If they look like they have a twisted rope about an inch down and 3 triangular marks from the kiln on the bottom of each, they are Red Wing rope bowls. They were made in the 30s. They usually sell for 20-25 if they have no cracks chips hairlines or flea butes. The 2 together would be worth about 40-50 for a collector looking for a good buy. Red wing did a line of dinnerware in the same colors as Fiesta. It was called Gypsy Trail. They actually were on the market before Fiesta. They also made cookie jars in the same colors in shapes of banana, grapes, apple, cabbage, pear pineapple. Originally the colors were cobalt, turquoise, yellow orange, later added pastels. There were jam jars in the fruit shapes, salad sets agaped like pears with accompanying salad bowls, and the dinnerware came with patterns such a chevron edges, plain, reed, fondoso, and Ivanhoe edges. Some of the dinnerware was marked Red Wing. Red Wing was the largest potter in the midwest. I was born in Red Wing and have been collecting stoneware and pottery from there for 50 plus years.

I'm late in finding your channel. I was watching an older video with Sue and an ugly hair receiver. Sue was very close in describing its use. The hair was rolled into a "rat", used to add volume to help create styles like the Gibson Girl updos. There is an awesome hair museum in Missouri. One of the most valuable things a housewife could make with her saved hair were pin cushions. Hard to find and very pricey. I collect hair art. Thank you for always being so positive.

I would have gotten that finial for Sue. In the 70's, my then mother-in-law made dogwood flowers from beer cans, they were very pretty, painted and everything. That big oriental vase had fantastic colors!

At 14:26 there is a clown with circus themed paint design. It is a music box and clown dances when music plays. I had this as a kid, no longer have it but would love to get again! There was an owl and a fat little sheep in the corner cupboard by the geisha dishes. 3:10ish. The owl may be modern. I can't see it real good but the lamb?/sheep is very cute. Especially with Easter/Spring coming.

My Mom smoked Camels when I was little.........years and years ago. No filters so the first couple of puffs caused her to pick a tiny piece of tobacco off from her tongue. Later she switched to Kent (filters).

I recently found one at a thrift store for $2, and am hoping to flip it for a profit. The one I found is made out of travel brochures from around the world. Way too fun.
