I was going to say the same thing. I just love the sweetness and kindness of elderly folks. If you have extra time to spend, staying and enjoying the history they have experienced can be fascinating. ( Frequently the stories told are served up with a glass of homemade sweet tea or lemonade). Some of my dearest friends are in their 80’s and 90’s. This lady was a true gem. 💎

I want that lady as my Grandma!! She is adorable.
That little old lady was so sweet and brought tears to my eyes. She reminds me of my Great Grandmom who passed away a few months shy of 101 in 2002. Everybody who knew Granny loved her, and she was Granny to everyone. She was from Norway and always had Norwegian baked goods on deck for whenever anyone came to visit. She was the glue thar held our family together and once she passed all the family dinners and holidays were not spent together anymore. But at least I have years and years of memories 😌

As resellers, you don’t need to pay tax. Tax is for the final buyer. There is a form with your reselling business name with a tax exempt number on it. Make copies and bring to every estate sale.

I think the secret to this couple is that they are very chill with each other on camera. They don't have loud emotional bursts, high or low, and seem to very easy going and respectful to each other even when things go slightly south. I really enjoy that part of their interaction. Im gonna try to apply it to my hectic life in nyc.

We find vacuums in the trash all of the time and ppl throw them out because they think they are broken. They are usually just clogged . We clean them real good and bam
Yes Denise my son does it too! One day I came by his place and he had vacuums and lawnmowers lined up across the yard with visible prices you could see from the road & people were stopping by buying them! Lol 😆 He does what he calls "Junking". The amazing things he finds are just incredible 🙏😇💙
@@angelove4u936we have a huge TV that someone put out in the trash. It works great. It's a ,65 or 70 inch I don't remember. We find tvs all of her time. It is amazing what ppl throw out. One man's junk is another man's treasure right

All of us want to adopt the precious grandma!! I have to say some of the best people I have ever met were in Kentucky!! The saying come sit a spell is spot on. My ex-in laws were from there and visiting there was a memory that I will always hold dear in my life!! And I finally got to see what a holler was LOL I almost had a heart attack going up in the holler and looked out my right window at the narrow road and the plunge below LOL. It’s always interesting to me to see how sellers value their items…like that lady who sold you all those silk scarves for $7, but wanted $4 for a single tie…and the lady who sold her mother’s vintage high end costume jewelry for $.25 a piece, but her handmade stuff for $5.😂 I’ve had similar experiences…happily passing on the handmade and scooping up the treasures!😅

The antique pitcher and cups is custard glass, it’s opaque yellow. It usually glows very bright, probably from late 19th century- 1910. Lucy was a doll, best part of your video.❤

I live in the UK and I found a Dyson vacuum outside someone home in the dumpster i asked the owner if it still works it was not picking up it had a 50p English money stuck in it works like new as it was 18 months old

The dental cabinet has a secret locking mechanis, that is controlled by the middle bottom drawer. If you open the drawer at the bottom then the rest of the drawers will unlock. I have the exact same cabinet and I use it for my jewelry. I paid $800 for mine. So $450 was a deal.

The sweet lady selling The Spring Maid bedding and sheets are a great brand. I wonder if they are still around . The other home having an estate sale, the home looked plain on the outside but beautiful on the inside.

Those mini Starbucks mugs are for espresso shots. Starbucks doesn't make them as often as the large ones, so they are less common and sought after.

Sometimes you have to remember estate sales are not garage sale prices. And eventually, they’ll come down if it’s still left.
I own an estate sale company and my prices are fair. Those prices are outrageous. You are training people to come to the last day for 75% day. Estate sale companies definitely have a different business model but prices should be south of what they were charging IMO.
