Nolan Tomlinson probably you wer right but in her case she didnt do good in this song ... timing was off , the song is not fit for her the voice is cracking ..
If people or contestants sang it the Dolly way, they would compare them to Dolly's original version, but almost everybody sings it the Whitney way, so people will obviously compare them to Whitney....

Biggest issue I have with this song is everyone always compares to the Whitney version whereas I much, much, prefer the original Dolly Parton
