Thank you for posting this as I had no idea a mulching head was available for mini track loaders. Such an item is perfect for doing very surgical work in tight quarters.
That's one of the dream toys of millions of men. I just wonder if the attachment -forestry mulcher - is specially made for this mini steer or the attachments can be used on steers medium and small. Thanks.
Yes, the mulcher comes in a range of sizes. From 900 to 1500 wide. All for low flow loaders. From there we jump to a larger forestry heads for high flow skid steers.
We are in Australia. It's available, but it's for a mini loader. We have larger skid steer models as well. Info and prices are on my website. Message me if you have any questions. www.euromulchers.com.au
It may fit, but will it work. Are you located in Australia? If so, contact me through my website, too many questions to be going through this platform. In short, you need around 35 engine HP, and 60 l/m @200 bar. Basically the same as a Vermeer CTX 100 or 160.
@@mjcontractorsllc I agree. But our experiences don't necessarily qualify everything that we say. You are comparing apples to oranges. I worked with the manufacturer for a year to develop this unit for my personal use. We considered everything as far as safety goes. I have been operating this unit for 2 years and we have about 30 in the field. No incidents. There are specific things about the design and orientation of the unit and operator that you are not aware of that make this unit perfectly safe when operated correctly. I understand and appreciate your concern.
@@wpog8453 100% correct. It all comes down to the way an operator uses the machine. As long as they abide by the company's directive and don't behave like a cowboy, Then everything will work out just fine.
Wouldn’t go anywhere near that machine. There’s a reason EVERY other manufacture making a rotary drum mulching head goes above and beyond when it comes operator protection. I’ve seen US military combat vehicles that are less protected than most serious mulchers. Having operated many types of mulchers (boom, skid steer and dedicated steel tracked) and personally owning a forestry mulching company in the PNW, I can without a doubt say that someone will get seriously hurt with this machine. The bad idea fairy won with this design.

I'm quite certain that you've never even seen one of these in person, much less operated one. Everyone is an expert online nowadays though.
