what happened at 5:00 i believe is when some fighters get knocked out and come back their muscle memory kicks in and they are in auto fight mode, its sort of a subconcious thing. there are vids out there of fighters after they get knocked out or even when they are still knocked out they fight the ref thinking its the other opponent. Dont think any hate should go to him.

The 'bob & weave' was not part of boxing initially and the same criticisms could have been levelled at that, avoiding punches is as important as throwing them. if not moreso.
Some of these “fighters” have ZERO respect for their opponents/officials. Was that Big Dan at the end? Deducting points for unsportsmanlike behaviour? I’d be doing that and then some. I was always taught that the referee is the sensei of the ring. You bow to him, you show him the respect and you always show respect to your opponent. The ref would have been alright. He wasn't being aggressive but he was making the right defensive moves, on top of that the fighter is massively compromised and would have had a hard time securing any submission.

After watching this, I realized that the refs are actually MUCH LARGER FIGHTERS than the ones they are reffing.
They need to be for obvious reasons. I think most of the top refs in the UFC are heavyweight

One of the most robbed and underrated fighters ever seen, all because he could dance and kick ass at the same time (drunken master), seriously, I fell out of love with boxing for a decade or so because he is legit one of the most versatile and entertaining fighters to ever grace the sport but the purists held him back (a real case of cancel culture), he would take any fight at short notice and often hand the established fighter a beating, the battle of their career and even retirement, leaving nearly eveyone he fought saying he was their toughest ever opponent (see Floyd Mayweather & Mickey Ward for example). The difference is, he was not an arrogant man and was actually a very graceful and respectful fighter. The 'bob & weave' was not part of boxing initially and the same criticisms could have been levelled at that, avoiding punches is as important as throwing them. if not moreso.
Some of these “fighters” have ZERO respect for their opponents/officials. Was that Big Dan at the end? Deducting points for unsportsmanlike behaviour? I’d be doing that and then some. I was always taught that the referee is the sensei of the ring. You bow to him, you show him the respect and you always show respect to your opponent.
These kids need to get a slapping and get back to training.

It wasn't really an ass whooping.. he was pretty much winning the fight until he danced right into a head kick knockout.
His name's Michael "Venom" Paige, he's 20 - 1 due to an accidental slip up causing his 1st knockout ever.
He also beat the guy he lost to in a later fight but lost again to another fighter to a split decision making him like 21-2 ATM.
Oooh no he didn't slip. Douglas Lima caught him with a perfectly timed leg kick causing him to fall to one knee. Before he could gather himself he caught an uppercut and two nasty hammerfists from hell. It was satisfying and karma. Michael venom page is super disrespectful. Damn good fighter but his antics make him super cringy.

Happens often enough, you blank out a bit from the impacts and it takes a min to realize what's going on. Just like at the 6:05 mark where the guy gets dropped and the fight called but he doesn't know so he comes up swinging until people tell him its the ref.
