I’m getting ready to go dig this coming weekend 5/20/23 and still trying to decide second day dig site. Could you tell me day of the week you were there and time of year? How long were you there digging? Did a lot more people show up? Thanks!
Most likely it was a Saturday or Sunday in this video. This video is from last July. The tailing area at that mine is now 3 times the size it was in this video. They just recently opened it up larger. Normally there’s at least a handful out there digging around. I hope you enjoy your trip of digging. Hope you find some good stuff! Have fun!

How accessible is this site? Is there a long hike or big incline from the parking area?
No, it’s an easy access area. You park right there at the same area also. It’s expanded much larger now also

I saved a lot of those in the past and have tumbled some. I just got have too many to save them all
