It has come to my attention from one of my friends that UA-cam has put unskippable ads on this vid. This is incredibly frustrating as the whole point of this video was for widely accessible slightly humorous content, and it pisses me off seeing unskippable 15 second ads on my own vid. I have tried to turn off ads on the video but I can't find the option after looking it up online (I am very much an amateur in this field). If anyone knows how to turn off ads on my video please tell me and I'll do it when I have the time.
there's no ad. I think it was just your friend.

You cant do anything against it, UA-cam itself activate ads on Videos because more and more people use Ad Blocker.
And you dont have the ads option because of your low amount of subscribers.

@@lavans5721 does new vegas really count as a western game?
@@Cat-uv7dy I'd say so, yeah.
Firstly, it's set in the Mojave desert, which stretches across Nevada, Arizona, California, and Utah which is as western as a location gets. Theres tumbleweeds, cactus, yucca trees, succulents, watering holes and wells, hills and canyons. Most of the songs featured in-game are western themed (one example being jingle jangle). Lots of characters wear post-apocalyptic western attire, like cowboy dusters, theres cowboy hats of all shapes and sizes. Theres a talking robot who is a corporate cowboy mascot made to sell a western themed (sassafras root) pop drink. Weapons also have a lot of western flavor in them. Widowmaker shotguns, .22 old rifles, revolvers, "big irons". Hell, theres a weapon called the "Mysterious Magnum" which everytime you pull it out and holster it, it makes a banjo twang like a Clint Eastwood movie. A lot of the quests are named after western-themed references, apart from the ones that reference song titles.
New Vegas isnt Red Dead in terms of cowboy influence, but it's a mix of that cowboy stuff with the fallout setting of an apocalypse.

And it's endlessly versatile for storytelling. You want a romance? Brokeback Mountain. You want a splatter horror? Bone Tomehawk. Cattlepunk science fiction? The Wild Wild West. @@qstionblomens6138I read it.
@@remobrandon190That book has an excess of violence and a lack of commas.
For those who don't know:
The photo of the guy in the last part is named Judge Holden. He is the main antagonist of a anti-western novel called "Blood Meridian" which is mainly about a boy who is a part of a gang of mercenaries that hunt Native tribes' scalps.
Judge Holden is one, if not the most evil villain in all of fiction.
Here's why:
He was involved in countless crimes on the Wild West, including mass slaughtering of people, robbery, grape, and scalp hunting.
Falsely accused a priest of being a child murderer and zoophiliac in an attempt to get the priest killed by his congregation. When confronted about how he was aware of that fact, he stated that he never met or saw him in his life and simply destroyed the priest's life for his own amusement.
When he and the group of nomadic mercenaries encountered the tribe of Apaches, he tricked the Natives by falsely surrendering, only to attack and brutally murder them.
He graped and murdered children multiple times throughout the story.
He graped and broke a boy's neck.
He graped and threw a girl over the wall of a town.
He was involved in several more conflicts with Natives, including a raid that resulted in the slaughtering of multiple babies and defenseless non-combatants.
He refused to help Davey Brown pull out an arrow in his leg and even sarcastically joked about stealing his insurance.
He murdered (and most likely graped) a Native American child and scalped him. When Toadvine confronted him about this act, he did not show any kind of remorse or guilt.
He shot a man who stabbed one of the gang members at a bar, which led to a fight between the customers and the gang that resulted in multiple deaths, and then ordered Tobin to kill the fleeing men.
He bought two puppies, only to throw them off a bridge and leave them to drown, showing signs of his blatant psychopathy.
He hunted various specimens of birds because he finds the freedom of birds to be an insult to him. As if this weren't cruel and petty enough, he also says that it would be preferable to keep all birds in a massive zoo, even if it took a lot of time and resources to build it.
Attempted to corrupt more of the already evil members of the gang with his nihilistic and socially darwinistic philosophy.
He refused to turn over the gang member who had murdered the eating house proprietor to Lieutenant Couts.
He attacked Tobin and the Kid and forced them to go into hiding in order to escape him. During the chase, Tobin was shot in the neck.
He used the Idiot as a pet while holding him by a leash and forcing him to hold his weapons. He also corrupted the Idiot into becoming his "pupil", to the point that he assisted him in trying to kill the Kid and Tobin, and, aparently, in graping a little girl.
Tried to get the kid executed by framing him responsible for the slaughter of the Glanton gang.
It's also implied he testified against Toadvine and Brown, resulting in the two of them getting hanged. While both men undoubtedly deserved it given their crimes, it comes off as extremely hypocritical given that Holden was just as guilty as them, if not more so.
It is implied that he murdered Tobin after the duo escaped.
He lured the Man into the outhouse, implicitly graping and killing him in a very gruesome manner.
He is never punished for his crimes and gets away with everything in the end, stating that he never sleeps and will never die; being a Satanic figure, the narrative even implies that he is ageless, eternally free to commit atrocities and corrupt men while working towards his goal of becoming suzerain of the earth.
Even though he is Satanic in nature, he still has full moral agency due to possessing the capacity to think like a normal individual.
Overall, he has absolutely no redeeming traits or excuses for his actions, as he simply commits them to satisfy his sadism.

A saint is someone who has achieved the pinnacle of virtuous living, akin to a good Samaritan dedicating a substantial portion of their life to goodness. However, living a virtuous life is a challenging undertaking, demanding the daily rejection of wrongdoing and consistent right choices throughout one's existence. It's like using a chisel to sculpt stone-your soul, in this case-into the desired form. This is a demanding process where man serves as both the artist and the medium. Nevertheless, this demanding existence is attainable through determination and human means, albeit typically reserved for the strongest and most resolute among us.
On the opposite end of the moral spectrum, we find the dark saint, one who wholeheartedly commits their life to embracing depravity and evil with the same zealous focus as their benevolent counterparts. This represents the zenith of what is humanly conceivable and achievable in the realm of evil. Their life is characterized by unwavering discipline, dedication, and relentless effort, all directed toward causing pain.
They don't engage in sin for personal whims or fleeting pleasures, such as drinking for personal enjoyment. Instead, they commit acts of evil as if it were a worthwhile endeavor, much like an artist creating a masterpiece or a saint performing good deeds without expecting anything in return.
For a dark saint, committing acts of evil is not only because they can, but because they must, as it is a fundamental truth of their nature
The Judge's purpose is to sow violence, pain, and suffering. He embodies the darkest capacities of humanity, serving as a stark exemplar of the sins of Western society and manifest destiny. Despite being somewhat mortal - susceptible to failure, deception, and lacking omniscience - he possesses unparalleled skill, grounding him in the realm of human capability.
A confrontation with him transcends the physical realm and delves into a moral battle. The Judge employs psychological tactics, aiming to induce paranoia, nurture the worst aspects of his adversaries' personalities, and ambush them at their most vulnerable moments, all with the goal of inflicting pain.
In the wasteland, he is a mythical figure, akin to the likes of the Courier, Ulysses, or Graham. However, while the others may lean towards neutrality or goodness, he embodies the essence of evil and cruelty.

“His feet are light and nimble. He never sleeps. He says that he will never die. He dances in light and in shadow and he is a great favorite. He never sleeps, the judge. He is dancing, dancing. He says that he will never die.”
That photo of the Judge scared the shit out of me
The second I saw the thumbnail I knew there was only one thing the bad path could lead to.
I thought one was gonna be westerns and the other was gonna be erotic novels.
I love it, thank you so much it looks really cool.
I like it too 😊
“His feet are light and nimble. He never sleeps. He says that he will never die.”
Knowing about the judge that picture was a jumpscare
When night falls, she cloaks the whole world in impenetrable darkness. a chill rises from the soil, and contaminates the air, suddenly life has new meaning.
Absolutely banger lyrics. Vargs an awful guy but a damn amazing musician
Gotta love Burzum
He recorded that with a WW2 pilot's helmet
Ain't no way that's the beginning of Dunkelheit playing at the end
THATS WHAT IM SAYINGGGG
"There is a flawed place in the fabric of your heart, did you think I could not know?"
Was waiting for it yet the Judge still snuck up on me in the end. Just like the Kid

- Blood Meridian
@@SaberFate777 damn dude, I am sorry for your illiteracy.
@@SaberFate777 why?
Someone help me here. In the first chapter when the Judge enters the tent and accuses the preacher, his hands are described as small and his face childlike. But frequently the author describes him as bigger than most men and very strong. At one point there is a mention of a strangled body, and the hand prints on the neck could only belong to one man... Was that a slip up? Does the judge shapeshift subtly at times?
He's supposed to be uncanny, he's very large and intimidating, but also has childlike features
@@sneed3613 thanks sneedchad pfp dude, very cool
@@lorddoof3370 Why don't you have Judge Holden molest Perry for you?
Imagine a giant baby the size of a grown man.
Judge is roughly as tall as shaq. But judge is described as wide even for his height. “Small” hands to him would still be extremely large to us.
I had a feeling Blood Meridian would get a mention.
So are not going to talk about how Holden is basically a vague personification of war itself?
Some people, like The Vile Eye, consider the Judge to be the devil.
He is many things. War, death, lucifer, "the wandering Jew", Mephistopheles, humanity, but above all, he is the Judge. He is worthy of being his own self.
He never sleeps.
I could feel Judge appearing from a mile away but it still got me 😭
I was thinking "Well what's the bad side?"
And then he smiled.
let's be honest, Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 are mild at best with the level of savagery and violence
Yes but the serial killer from RDR2 was kind of gorey (not as gorey as whatever the fuck Glanton's gang is doing though)
Nah red dead 2 gets pretty messed up in terms of what you can do to NPCs. Look up low honor play throughs and you’ll see just how convincing they made human suffering in that game
Thats because the brutal things in that game is not being done by dutchs gang, in some place you can find a scalped man that is still alive
He is sneeding, sneeding. He says that he will never Chuck.
If anyone wants to take the journey into Blood Meridian I want you to be prepared for a few things.
One, the book is incredibly written. I say this because it's so good that it's actually hard to follow at times if you're not used to that type of writing.
Second, for the first half of the book you'll be wondering "this is bad but I thought it was going to be worse?" Continue to the second half.
Third, you won't make sense of what you read in the end. You'll read/watch people make multiple different opinions all unique from each other.
I found it entirely better as an audio book. Almost as if it were read around a fire, naturally, as it looks like it was trying to do.
Ughh, wonder If I just have some sort of inner hipster or something but the more the Quality of Blood meridian is described to me the more I absolutely never wanna touch it. Have a similar feeling about the dune books whenever those fans talk about it. That and a bunch of other pieces of literature that I'm sure are beyond Phenomenal, yet I feel my experience has somehow been derailed or distorted before it even began.
@@failtolawl That might be because in an audio book you don't have to worry about the lack of quotation marks.
If my baby sister annoys me too much I'mma just show her a picture of the judge she gonna go missing

After reading this book, Judge Holden is one of the scariest antagonists in Wild West history.
What the fuck did I just hear the start of dunkelheit by Burzum in a random unrelated meme...
Same reaction haha. I don't think I've seen another Burzum fan in the wild so it was surprising.
