My Dad had liver failure, he itched all over and his skin was awful. So if a monkey’s liver is like a humans, I understand the itching and scratching. Hope he gets better. My dad died 😢

Stumptail babies are cared for by the whole troop..they do not ever get abandoned. They are poached..!!

@Kimberly_11 poached is stolen from its mother. Stump tails are very docile an babies. Poached is how many people aquire them but there are also illegal farms that grow just for sale. When this endangered species is no longer cute for videos it will be killed or sold back to a farm for breeding purposes. There are no vets in cambodia, there are what we in canda call pet stores. These people that work a these operations are not trained animal technicians just people that sell monkeys that know a bit about them. Gloves and masks can be bought to make it look professional but it's not. Also there are markets that selll monkeys in cambodia, meat markets sell monkeys for consumption

Takas mother, I saw part of this old video of Taka brought or sent to in the Box with holes. How you opened your heart-you took him to hospital, had them bind up his wounds. You took him back home, gave him milk, and a pink, soft bed, he fell in with expressions of THANKS!

Oh, I agree with you. I once saw a video of a mother monkey who TORE DOWN A CHAIN LINK FENCE to recover her stolen Pup. She was fierce and Demonic when it came to rescuing HER pup.
Most of their mothers are dead. Most of them would get left to die in the wild if not for foster systems. You are a parrot that repeats PETA propaganda. You don't know anything about these monkies or the countries they come from or primate hierarchy or simian biology or social systems. This monkey because of it's low status as an orphan would be constantly beaten, raped and tortured for the amusement of higher ranking monkies or be kidnapped and starved to death by the offspring of higher ranks just for them to practice for when they have their own offspring. It most likely escaped a fate far worse than death if left in the wild. PETA doesn't think any animal should be "owned" as in their eyes, it's slavery because of their twisted views and hatred for all others in mankind. Yet they think it's fine if the animal somehow "chooses" to stay in the "care" of one of their own organizations members. This monkey is far more likely to be a victim of a PETA member committing beastiality with it than it is to be abandoned by this woman who obviously has the right qualifications and empathy required of fostering or adopting this baby. Everything about the treatment of this animal is Ethical according to your own standards. You just hate to see human beings co existing with nature because then you can't force your unethical treatment rhetoric to get donations to find your delusions or fantasies.

Exactly...they are not "rescued". These poor little things have been stolen from their mothers. Once they've grown too big and are no longer cute they are returned to the wild with zero skills to live amongst wild monkeys.

Had her work cut out for her but dad needed her energy and youth and her passion for him helped them! But it was amazing how dependent dad was on his young wife! It’s not just monkeys who suffer being orphaned! It’s the end of all security for a baby!
