Yknow what is the saddest part?
10 years ago we used to see the deep web as the worst of the worst but nowadays the surface web is just as bad. People literally commission animal cruety videos on discord or telegram, and these apps are available for everyone of any age, its genuinely depressing.

I agree. A lot of CP criminals never get harsh sentences and when they get out so many are left to do whatever. The case of Jacey Dugard is a perfect example. A pedo kidnapped her and kept her hostage for 18 years. Several times the Pedo's probation officer and other cops visited his residence or were called there and they somehow never found her in his backyard. It was disgusting. Him and his wife are rotting in prison now but it's another example of how these people get away with it for so long

I think the saddest part is how young some of the people who consume this type of stuff are, like 13-15. No wonder they grow up to do heinous acts. It starts with curiosity and ends in depravity. This is why I'd be a total hawk of a mom when I have kids, I'm not going to let the internet in all it's disgusting glory mold my child. Change starts with the next generation and if this trend of feeding kids brain slop doesn't stop we're gonna have this happen more and more...

@@Robbie-mw5uu Glad you do that and I agree that the internet should be only for adults. Came across some really disturbing stuff even when googling the most harmless stuff.
Sadly this doesn't prevent it either; especially once kids get older and hang out with other people. And then there is
"social contagion". They see what other kids do, or even become friends with the wrong kind of people.
And also agree that schools suck too! Beside SA, there is also violence. Heard that people experience the most violence in their lives during their years in school (and someone that got bullied I can talk from experience here). And most of the stuff we learn there is useless and indoctrination.
I think it is mostly a societal problem. Notice over the time people have become more aggressive and stressed.

For the opening spiel, I feel like the CLEAR net has become its own rabbit hole for a lot of people, because most people just browse the same few websites, plus storefront sites. Just browsing outside of algorithms is becoming a lost art in itself, and a lot of the sites & communities on the surface Web just stay unknown now because they're outside of the social media & commercial spheres.
There are a bunch of Web forums out there like Agora Road or Cloudy Skies or Brahkie Boards that live like they're outside of people's reach, just because people don't really surf the Web anymore. You have like the sites on Tilde Town & NekoWeb, people link from indie-web spots like Neocities or Melonland that just lead you down a rabbit hole, or even old UA-cam videos like the VSauce "Do Online Now Guys" series just lead to places people don't really make the effort to find anymore. The people interested in dark Web browsing are probably growing that same sort of distance from the surface Web, so I think this type of thing can branch out from being solely about dark-Web finds.

Watched a documentary once called PDF next door. They interviewed one of the detectives whose job it is to trawl through the hard drives of these people. Tens and tens of thousands of images and videos, and she had to label them on a basis of severity and trying to Identify these kids. I couldn’t even imagine the horrors she would be witnessing. She pointed out that some of these vids were dated 10 plus years old. These poor kids have been where they are, suffering god knows what for 10+ years and they’re still anonymous. Just imagine that. You know exactly that 1 out of 200 people was involved in this. And if you assume that most users were men and men make up only half the population, that means roughly 1 out of 100 men was involved.

Think more on the gratification side of the spectrum than the suffering side of the spectrum and you might kinda figure out what I mean. I caught a couple of your vids and watched them, and others, because I had never really been on the dark web much. You appeared to be informative in a good way so I subscribed to watch when I could. I guess there is a lot of decent and good sites/info but obviously it's full of some of the most vile crap imaginable. For about 20 years I worked in a prison facility that housed the 980 law commitments. Also called the sexually violent predator law. It was a law passed to keep predators, who were deemed dangerous, incarcerated indefinitely. Even though their sentences was completed. And it continues to be a good thing. A very good thing. Keep up the good and thanks for keeping your eyes open and reporting some of the truly abhorrent behaviors and people that society has to suffer. Although I find politicians and and news sources, and the lies they tell to essentially brainwash the masses to support policy that serves only the goal of the concentration of wealth to the tenth of the one percent. And the nefarious tactics they use to get there. Which sadly is right before our eyes and likely too late to stop. The curious, who actually do their own homeworks and not owned by Fox or CNN etc and get their fodder from news sources owned by the tenth of the one percent, might take advantage of watching Noam Chomsky's Requiem For The American Dream. In which he outlines the reasons for that agenda and the 10 principles they are using to get them there. A few of them are; Keepintg the masses in a state of economic uncertainty to make us likely likely to create problems for them. Obviously happening and more evident everyday by prices being inflated for no real reason and wages stagnating. While huge profits and bonuses are made for the big companies. #2 Keeping the masses fighting amongst ourselves to keep focus off them. Kind of hard to miss that one. #3 Killing workers unions. #4 Slowly getting rid of true democracy. And when you think it all started with Citizens United and allowing money to buy politicians and policy and the fact that politicians have no interest in getting rid of it anymore while they all take advantage of quickly filling their coffers by allowing their own little insider trading groups and making policy to fit their interests. You can begin to see that they are all helping facilitate the goal of the super wealthy. If you have doubts just Google some searches about the net worth of the shysters and how much faster they are filling their coffers and how.
I have thought that I would see the human race progress to one that is founded on love and benevolence. Like the thing you see in a SyFy movies with some alien million year old culture that actually loves and cares for each other. But sadly I won't even see a baby step towards that goal. We seem to regress more and more. It leaves me thinking that for a supposedly sentient species we must be one of the worst in the entire universe. The obscene things we do to each other, the planet and anything that stands in our way for greed, religion, property, jealousy and any of the other causes that has propagated unnecessary pain and suffering to countless souls, and this planet, for much too long. For me its just damn heartbreaking.

In 2012 the GF of one of the abusers got a job in the police force (She knew what was happening and encouraged it)
She got the job with this lovely statement
" I am a very honest and diligent person and I know myself well. I think about crime from the viewpoint of criminals too, and in case of sexual assault I am able to consider both - victim’s as well as criminal’s position and whether the victim did not walk around in a manner encouraging to be assaulted. So please choose me for this position. I can do some martial arts as well."
Then there is the Gwangju Inhwa School case - school for the deaf and such
The new teacher who reported it? Fired
What about all the recent cases in Gangam ?
      Commonality about these
People KNEW and it only got dealt with not when caught but when it got too big and so no longer ignorable, same with the Nth room IT was known about for YEARS it only go dealt with when things went too far for the Korean govt to ignore
      S-Korea is not alone
Japan is just as guilty for this

When I was a child my friend and me used all kinds of chat rooms ( it was the era of the young Internet) and we always stumbled into these kind of creeps and weirdos but we never EVER sent them anything, we just messed around and laughed about how pathetic they are.

What's crazy is these types of groups and people exist everywhere you go; any website or social media app that has private chats will have poeople who distribute cp and spycam vids, it just never gets big enough to be noticed ,and when they do they get taken down;abd the people involved rarely get recognized or prosecuted. And they always just create new accounts and do it all over again.

I remember learning about the Nth Room thanks to Rotten Mango which i recommend anyone to watch when they have the time. The impact of the Nth room and the reaction from governing bodies as well as ordinary people were massive.

You really think someone would do that? Just go on the Internet and tell lies?

As someone who almost got killed and filmed by some dudes dressed up like clowns when I was younger and in a really bad situation, I can assure you that those types of movies really do exist
