IMPORTANT PSA: The new cap for normals is 124 gear score. For squire kits, follow exactly as the video shows. For reaching 124 gear score, some adaptation is required. Prioritize the following: Movespeed rolls on boots, +additional/true magical damage on head, necklace, rings, and cape. +Max Health on Chest and Legs. Alternatively, for a budget setup, you can just bring in a blue or purple weapon and wear the squire kit shown in the video. Best of luck, Trozers
brother... i kill 3 ppl every round and its not even close. i dont even poke them, i just hit them 2 or 3 times. full inventory of jewelry and blues every single match. thank you so much for making solo sub 25 wizard fun (i think it's ridiculously broken, ngl).
I've been enjoying this build in under 24's to level up my wizard, but i've adapted the crossbow as a secondary instead of book. It synergizes with ignite and is nice to pull out for a sneaky shot when initiating fights
yep i did this build last season and everyone was like "mage sucks" im over here two tappin like this is the strongest class in the game, i was really noob then
Fighters and bards should be nearly identical to the ranger matchup in "HARDEST" ASSUMING movespeed is the same. All 3 classes use bows. Bows generally will royally screw low cast speed casters (i.e. this gear level).
I agree but mostly for higher gear score when they are able to build more damage, and the bows hurt a lot more. In the low gear lobbies, Bard's bow tickles, and fighters often ooga booga in melee and don't rely on ranged. You're right that bows do very well into casters.
Idk I’m running full caster in under 24 right now and it’s the most successful in PvP I’ve ever been. Spells also do a lot it feels like. Maybe there have been some changes
I am playing it right now!! Pretty nice build, approachable for a newer mage player. Just the pve clear with the staff only is a bit meh... Any suggestions about that? Or is that just how it is?
That's just an innate Weakness of Wizard. Try clearing PVE with anything else and it's much worse. With gear, (+add/true magic rings, necklace, and hat) then Meditate + Magic Missile spam becomes decent for PVE clear.
@@arseniykukushkin2428 Since the staff has been nerfed, dagger+sphere is ok... but still not as good at low gear. Dagger+mana sphere or cyclops vision crystal is quite good in high gear score though.
@@trozers Thanks, your advices are super useful. It would be also super cool if there would be kind of tier list of classes for 0-24, and for beginers with some class related advices
would you run something else instead of zap? or is it the best? i experimented with explosion instead and it worked good anyway im really enjoying this build i took down a trio with it im contemplating of buying lycan just for it, what other class benefits from lycan?
I prefer Zap, but Explosion is more damage (it just casts much slower). Lycan is good on all classes for keeping Gear score low. It's a free 4 vigor helmet, you just can't wear any upgrades that you might find in raid.
I can't find white darkleaf boots, its squire equipment after some quest? cause have none on market to buy D: , nice vids man, keep up the good stuff , shout out from Brasil , thanks
They are unlocked by an early quest, I believe from the leather smith. Until then, I would consider buying a green pair of darkleafs and skip the necklace. On the boots look for a pair with either +physical power, or + movespeed. Good luck!
I like this but I use crossbow and staff with all str items and darkleaf boots with leather cap... very similar. Catches a lot of people off. Instead of quick chant I go melt. Xbow is to bait people into meleeing you or into magic missiles. Shit is disgusting
What class/build would say are strongest in -124? probably dagger fighter but that was nerfed im feeling bored lately and i wanna blow my money on -124 kits
honestly -124 is probably the most balanced gear bracket. I think every class has builds in 124 that make them strong. Which classes do you like playing the most?
I remember when wizard actually took skill to play but then ironmace added staff mastery and nerfed every damage spell and casting speed. Yes you can still play "bonk wizard" but its not the same class that i fell in love with. Good bye dark and darker.
I feel you brother. I play mostly caster Wizard and don't like taking staff mastery. But in under 24's, and in solos you almost have no choice but to take it.
Let's make a deal, i'l give you a sub and likes on all your videos, and next class you'll cover in low gear is ranger EDIT: Already done my part of a deal, that you didn't even agreen on, I just want to support you
They aren't lying that caster is just weaker in squire without stacked additional/true. RN for caster I'm running quick chant, sage, spell overload, and ice mastery. Its a meditate 5 spell build. I use fireball, zap, MM, Ice Bolt, and Haste. I run full white knowledge gear including the oracle robe. With haste on you get 64% cast speed and 310 MS.
@@sudopaws9982 Unfortunately, you're trolling if you don't have invis in solos because bows will just own you without it. You can still get 80%+ cast speed without haste so long as you're in mixed epics/legendaries. Realistically speaking, most moment to moment gameplay won't even allow you to get haste off anyways. To add to your point, the main issue with a full caster Wizard build is getting spells back for third parties. If meditate was baseline but a bit weaker, this wouldn't be nearly as much of a problem. Instacast with chain and ice mastery still absolutely destroys people in 1v1s if you're good enough at spacing and aiming, but then you'll be completely dry for the third or even fourth parties when they inevitably show up as they always do, rendering your class completely and utterly useless.
@@sudopaws9982 for my caster solo wiz in low gear I run arcane mastery, sage, quick chant fire mastery. Sometimes I’ll switch out fire mastery for ice mastery or ice shield. For my spells I’ll run fireball, zap, ice bolt, magic missiles , and invis. I’ll run intense focus too.
I agree with you as I am a spell caster enjoyer. That's why I spend most of my time in higher gear Wizard. But I would be lying to you if I made a low gear video and pretended caster was strong for Wizard. We can only hope that the dev's make Caster Wizard more viable in low gear.

How do you get the gloves and boots and leather cap? Squire doesnt have it for me
Complete some of the early quests for the leathersmith and tailor. Then you'll unlock all the squire gear.

Yeah, I switched it up to see which people prefer. Glad you like it!
Can I ask you a question?
About skin
Not only wizard
basically which skin is better?
Lizard vs lycan
Do lizard have no merit to use instead lycan?
Lizard is fine. Lycan is better because Wizard has such low base vigor, so you get more value out of the +4 vigor. It should be around +10hp
