So the wife actually said "Why am I standing out here watching you? Here, use this and I'm going back inside." Am I right? lol. Onine makes some really badass running boards. Chinese aftermarket manufacturing has really gotten good and stylish. I remember how crappy, boring, and flimsy they were 30 years ago. Now I prefer them. I almost ordered your style, but ended up getting the tube style boards they make instead. Installing tomorrow. Your video helped take the mystery out of the bracket install. Thanks for the entertaining vid.

You are so right I priced some running boards at a truck part store. The running boards where $399 to install another $300 . They are costly. So, I purchased my from American Truck for $299.00 and some change. I watching your video really helped me out.

Just did this same job on my 2023 Trail Boss with similar running boards from ONINE. Wish I had seen your video first, but all in all the same way I did it. The only problem I ran into was that the inner rails came warped in the center of running board, so I informed the company ONINE and they sent me a whole new set without any issues. The only problem though was the second set came cosmetically dinged from shipping. So I was able to remove the inner rails from the set that came dinged and weas able to complete my install. Very nice looking too. Definitely needed them on the Trail Boss, as they come factory lifted. Anyone who wants some new slightly dinged running boards cheap let me know.

Your wife was right, those magnetic trays are an absolute gift from the heavens. I have like 8 of them now and those, my trusty 3/8 ratchet and a demolition screwdriver comes with me to every single mechanical job I do :D

Great job! This helped when mine came in, and I unboxed everything. I did end up using a magnetic tray as well (just so I didn't have to look around for parts on the floor).

    Hi Jim
I watched a few of your videos. The one about changing oil in riding lawnmower a while back gave enough info for me to try it and ut came out good!!
Now, I am thinking about a van conversion project....
Wondering if you might look into power inverters, batteries and electrical systems in mini vans (dodge grand caravan)
If you have other suggestions that's great too.
    Love your videos!
It's great how you show and explain everything Thanks
God Bless you and family always

Thanks for watching Kimberly sorry I don’t think I know enough about that to make a video. If it was me I would use my Titan or Bluetti. Did you see those videos?

Comment on pricing - the dealer in San Antonio, TX said $80 to install the OEM parts. Probably more for ONINE or others since GM didn’t make money in the parts.
