My father passed away to he had a seizure fell out of a boat I had to jump in and held on to his body for 25 minutes in 36 degree water. I’m only 14 but this band is amazing to me helps with flashbacks of him going purple in that water from drowning. I understand your thoughts
I miss my mom, she is in Germany and Im in UK, she would love Pink Floyd so much, took me to the concert in Madrid when I was a pre-teen. I'm glad you mention your dad, we grew up with so much love for the arts, with so much dance and joy, so much generosity, my dad too would play the music and have 900 vinyl disk. She loved him for the music and laughter, they were so handsome and pretty.
It's very nostalgic as well. Because I used to listen to this song when I was deployed like 19K feet up in some God forsaken place for 2 years...I used to listen with a candle on in my dark room. It's crazy ikr but it's the best way to immerse in this music
