    People question, "why this song?".
To me I feel this song says, we all have to go someday. But the one's we lose first, we have to journey the rest of our lives without. Especially our parents. They have it the hardest.
We are the ones who have to take the hard way out. The long and hard way down to our final day.
Joey was loved by many. so this journey will not be the same without him.
Let's remember how Joey lived his life. Always smiling and brought that happiness to all who was around him.
There are things we would have liked to ask him, and it tears at us now. But we will. When we meet him again.

    BEN HOWARD LYRICS
    "Oats In The Water"
    Go your way,
I'll take the long way 'round,
I'll find my own way down,
    As I should.
    And hold your gaze
There's coke in the Midas touch
A joke in the way that we rust,
    And breathe again.
    And you'll find loss
And you'll fear what you found
    When weather comes
    Tearing down
There'll be oats in the water
There'll be birds on the ground
There'll be things you never asked her
Oh how they tear at you now
    Go your way,
I'll take the long way 'round,
I'll find my own way down,
    As I should.
    And hold your gaze
There's coke in the Midas touch
A joke in the way that we rust,
    And breathe again.
    And you'll find loss
And you'll fear what you found
    When weather comes
    Tearing down
There'll be oats in the water
There'll be birds on the ground
There'll be things you never asked her
Oh how they tear at you now

I was searching for the lyrics to this song and I stumbled upon this.. I thought the least I could do is watch it.. To the family; I was Moved as I let myself go and imagine the type of person he was. He loved family, life, and good food. This was obvious.
Thank you for sharing this personal part of your family and the loss. Man I felt that!! Prayers and peace for you guys. Sincerely, Matthew Thompson.
