It would have been nice to know what motor and battery he's using,if it's running a nice brushless setup and a big lipo battery I'm guessing it's pretty fast. Not sure about the handling though, would be great to see a video of it running.
@@jeffmackovitch9987 If you can't get a smt10 chassis, I think the Blackfoot would be great with a SCX10 base and some Bruiser wheels and tires. Axial SCX10 amzn.to/4fzcrwH
Back when the Black Foot and Monster Beetle came out they were well over £250 in the UK, the only kit under £100 was the Grasshopper and maybe the Lunchbox and Midnight Pumpkin. They might have been cheaper in America. My first Tamiya (Grasshopper) was £85 so probably around 50 dollars back then in America.
@BrownNeckReviews That's crazy, they were super expensive here in the UK. I have vivid memories of going to Beaties and dreaming about having one of the monster trucks for christmas.i used to watch the Tamiya promotion videos that they used to play on repeat. I saw a old price list for the Tamiya RC line up from the early 90s the other day, I'll try and find it again so you can see it.
Dude that looks sick! I would like to see a run video of this thing. You did well.
@@waynegilchrist3535 probably after the 1st of the year, going to do a video on my cars running.
awesome build

I see what you did there. Nice Monster Beetle 4x4!
Should have been a 4x4 in the first place.
@ My 1st Hobby Grade RC was the 2WD Blackfoot and I am eyeballing it as a 2025 project with 4x4 action!
