This is something I have wanted to happen for a really long time. Let's go Losi!
Always looking out for the racers and gear heads!
@@LosiRacingf off your company won’t ever get any support. But I promise to make a video why not buying horizon products.
@@LosiRacingcan you please do a faster brushless 1/10 scale nascar
In the 80's we raced NASCARs RC's all the time. We had great high banked concrete and asphalt tracks, like Whippoorwill, Dalton, Jasper, Nashville and dozens more all over the country. We used pan cars with "Capped" tires. It was great. It was the most fun time in RC for me.... then it died. I'm glad to see it come back, but it isn't new !!
thanks... what we mean by "new" is that those cars in the 80's were not officially licensed and came RTR... they had to be built and they were difficult for NASCAR families to join in the fun, which is part of the reason it died :) When RC gets complicated and/or expensive it drives people away.
I’m so excited!!! Been waiting my whole life for a hobby grade licensed rtr nascar rc.. I’m so so stoked!! Thank you! Need to get one asap for a review and laps on a real track!
These are the comments we love to read! We are here for the race fans like you and glad they are getting what they deserve
Same thank you , we love Losi brand and our dog 🐶 😂I have to order that NASCAR body for my infraction too .
Your whole life really?
@@LosiRacingI just went on Nascar radio and talked about the new Losi product!!
@@Noneyurbusinesssince I was 5 and had a tyco hijacker then got a Traxxas rustler when I was 8.. so about 30 years… most of my life..
Now y'all need a throwback Winston Cup body.
LUMINA, TBIRD, GBODY!
@@LosiRacing Go even further back to 60's/70's/80's Nascar. I'd love a powder blue #43 Superbird myself. Another idea is truck series bodies...
@@LosiRacing i got one of the big 1/8 rc nascar cars sold in the mid ,00s era. so a lumina would be A M A Z I N G
Great job, great design. Can't wait to see the progression of this platform. I would love to see this go to 1/5 scale!!! Imagine what you could do for a realistic chassis in 1/5 scale.
that would be insane, what do you think is a solid price that most people will pay for a true to scale 1/5th ?
I love the idea of bringing RC to the masses, and this is just about the best way to do it. NASCAR is the largest Motorsport in the US, so it’s definitely the right route, at least for America. I bet they’d sell crazy if they were to be sold at actual NASCAR events and races. I know it’s made for inexperienced people in RC, but as an enthusiast I would’ve liked to see a metal chassis like the one on the mini T and mini B but more angular to fit the shape of the car, kind of like the shape of an Arrma 3s chassis but metal. RWD is also an obvious desire, as real stock cars are rwd with rear solid axles. But if Losi took the time and money to design a whole different platform, it’d be so much more expensive. They definitely went the right route with this, it looks amazing.
AWNAN! thanks man...you get it. This is just the beginning!
Didn't even make it through the video and pre-ordered! Pumped!
A full on nascar cage with clear window would be epic!
we think so too and hope the 3D print guys do it... we cant do it and keep it under $200
Interesting return to oval , reminds me of the Losi Mini Slider which was also pretty popular.
Hopefully with all the cash this thing will generate they can finally update the 10th scale racing lineup a little bit ... (2wd and ST...)
You get it…. Stay tuned
These look great! Losi should re-introduce the Micro-T 1/36 scale! Micro-T 2.0 😏
Mini's are fun, and is a great tool to get kids into the R/C platform
Agreed! How many of us learned how to fix stuff through RC … yup us too.
Great starting price too! This and the typhon grom can make for some very fun racing classes at an a affordable price!
I love my Losi Mini’s. Mini T, B , Drag , JRX2 and JRxT. This is awesome.
Thank you so much for the love and support!
We are so back, NASCAR fans!
I'll bet these are gonna sell great at the races. Maybe Losi or Proline can put out some 90s bodies? I'd love a Jeff Gordon #24 DuPont
Pro-Line for sure!
Yeah I hope for some body options down the line! I preordered the #19 since I love my Mini LMT, Mini T 2.0, and Mini JRX2.

Thank you for putting so much love and detail into these cars. Take my money!!!
There were some great points brought up in this and it's cool to see the process. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!
Congrats on the new release love it
Definitely can't wait to see these in action and get some hands on one!!!
"Hello this is 911 dispatch can you please explain your emergency and location please"
"Yes, this is the owner of Park Lanes Hobby shop, and a fight broke out during our Nascar race"

I love it, losi does it again
thanks. we appreciate the love

2. Have fun
3. Upgrade it
4. Have fun
5. Repeat
We apologize in advance for the addiction
You just got a new subscriber. I LOVE THIS!!! I'm buying it as soon as September comes around. Will you be making other liveries as well? I'd love to see a Keselowski livery.
Thanks so much! if sales go well and people like yourself keep asking for more bodies we will do them. If not, we will have clear bodies that can be custom painted.
Would love to see this get a sick brushless version one day. Also more body's since there's like 4 blue ones a yellow and an orange
noted!
@@LosiRacing definitely picking up some of these!
Will "blank" bodies be available? This is incredible and enough to finally pull me back into the hobby after 30+ years.
we love to read this, and yes! clear bodies available
I have been begging the buget brands to make a nascar for years. I think a 1/12 would be best size to start. I dont have any Losi they are too expensive for me
This is so sick. I have the TLR Typhon which is a Losi Arrma integration. I love it. My favorite skate park basher using street tires. I even run it in the e-buggy offroad carpet track and it does really decent. I can't wait for this Nascar. An F1 version would be dope too. Especially since F1 has become really popular in America. Much more than it ever has.
thanks for sharing Farmer, love you hear you are enjoying the product. F1 would be awesome.
Hell yes this thing is going to look awesome next to my mini lmt
Let's go
Let’s GOOOOOOO!!!!
Horizon owns both armma and Losi so working together should not come as a surprise!
bingo
At this point I wanna say thank you to Losi❤ for the Mini B's...I have no local track or club next to me.
Driving with the Minis between my living and bedroom on my selfmade colabottletrack with boxershorts barriers!!! is the best preperation for my 8th scale races😂😂😂
this is awesome, thanks Mattes
will you be able to race these on like a dirt oval?
Clay should be no problem, might need a little tire prep though
I got into this hobby when I picked up a couple 1/16 Tamiya buggies for me and a buddy to run while we were camping at Phoenix Raceway for the cup race many years ago. When I needed more out of a small platform like that I bought my first Losi... a Mini 8ight, which held-up well enough to be prominently displayed in my living room when it was finally time to retire it.
this was awesome to read... we hope we can keep that story going.
I see losi and arrma teaming up again💪🏽. Tell arrma to bring the exb groms brushless out 😂. And tell them to put some foams in the tires
Well they are both owned by Horizon so…
My man…. that is some input I am happy to give!
@Truth_Spoken bro I know that bye
I want a tlr tuned typhon grom!
@LosiRacing one more idea everyone I mean everyone waiting on a 1/5 arrma typhon and the people wanting bring back yall true fifth scale legends back at least limit time.
Gotta get 2 of these.....look like fun.....😎👍
Yup, you get it!
Enjoy putting diffs in them. The Grom platform eats ‘em.
It's an on-road car......unless you turn it into a rally car....diff should be fine....😎👍
@@paulpadilla5288 “should be” until they arnt. Then you’re paying $40 more to fix the only major misjudgment by Horizon. I just need people to be warned of this.
wow... this is really cool... I wish you guys the best!! looks like it might be a great product line... now if they would stop closing all the asphalt tracks around the US then we can get something going... hopefully the indoor carpet will be a consideration
Thank you! Hopefully these cars get raced in much simpler / grass roots conditions. They handle amazing on normal parking lots so we hope hobby shops and race organizers can set up quickly and cheaply!
@@LosiRacing that’s what was hoping!! I’m assuming Nastrucks are on the menu in the future as well?
Not yet but if people keep asking we might have too
@@LosiRacing you HAVE to do it!! You’ve gone in this far… as Thanos once said… “it’s inevitable…”

Thanks Matt! He’s getting ready for his Christmas side hustle he says !
So freakn awesome. Losi keeps innovating unlike traxxas.
love it, thanks for the kudos

Glad me made it happen! Thanks for the love and support
Ok losi i just ordered one of your nascar's from my local hobby town this morning I'm very excited 😎👍
THIS WILL BE THE BEST FOR A CLASS AT ALL TRACKS!!!!!!
exactly!
As a fan of Nascar... Imma need this!
Will there be a clear body option or other decal sets? I ordered a 19. But need a #11
yup, those parts should be live for pre order tomorrow
This looks like a great platform. Well done y’all!
Nope. This platform eats Diffs. Add $40 to the price to get something that lasts.
So excited. Might have to order the KB, that's my favorite livery of his too! Lucas oil #8
YESSSSS GUYS. Excellent!!!
This is going to get alot of new people into the hobby!
thanks for understanding the vision
@@LosiRacing your welcome, it's definitely what we need in my area. It's almost dead around here.
I hope we get the truck bodies as well at some point. Just gotta scale the zane smith one down.
I hope Pro-Line Racing sees this!
Would be fun for FPV racing on track & field ovals until someone yells at you. We need more paved RC ovals in the states
I do hope you guys make another Losi Rtr stadium truck they are getting popular again and I just switched too TLR and I’m loving it. Hope to see a new stadium truck soon.
Nice 🔥🔥
I remember Gil Losi Jr showing me his JRX2, then whipping me with it, then spending time with our club showing it off. Been driving Losi since the 80’s…

I was so excited to see you guys sponsor NASCAR 🏁🏁🏁🏁. Now want to see you sponsor Noah Gragson number 10🏁🏁🏁.
Neat Little Chassis. We Need a Ross Chastain Body!

Absolutely awesome stuff. I love my losi 5t 2.0
Awesome ❤
Thanks !
It would be great if you offered more (all) of your models as kit or at least roller also instead of RTR only. I really like my Lasernut U4 tenacity - after swapping all electronics for better performing ones.
We agree, it’s just a shame that when we have done it in the past people don’t buy them so they get discontinued then people get frustrated that we discontinued it. Bad cycle
@@LosiRacing True. I personally would even accept longer lead times for a kit if this saves me all the hazzle with rebuilding and selling the stock components…
hear me out. new version of the old Comp Crawler!

we are getting that response alot... might need to do it

@@LosiRacing i have a mini t, b, jrx2, and lmt were gonna act crazy

Very cool guys 👍
Great job guys! This is exactly what us small time low budget races need. I have the 1rc dirt cars and this is gonna be a blast on the track. Really excited about this being nascar based and the amount of fun the boys and i are going to have on the dirt track and a couple of cold ones is gonna be amazing cant wait and am preordering now.
that is exactly what we want to happen... simple and fun way to create memories.
Let’s gooo! I’m so excited, definently going to try and pick one up eventually! But, can you guys try to make it clipless? Since you teamed up with arrma, and arrma has made some sweet clipless designs on the grom platform, I think the clipless system on your new rig would be perfect! 👍
well noted!
Great news!!! Can you still make the Nascar Goodyear tyres though for the Infraction V2 to go with my Nascar Truck body? From what I understand is you can back order them, but no one has ever received them. 😕
Sorry for the major delay... I am sure PL is working on it to ship ASAP
When are these expected to start shipping?
At the moment September !
Hope to see scale 1/5 of it 🤩
that would be awesome, but how much money do you think people will pay?
@@LosiRacing people will pay for things they love 😉
We happily pay a grand for Xmaxx, 8s Kratons, and Outcast. I have all 3 plus DBXLE, SBR 2.0 L, Vigilante and a SCX6 . A couple of those were $1200. The large scale community is starved for new platforms. If you build it we will buy.
you are correct, but how much will you pay?
got it, so $1200 for a 1/5 scale. Thanks
@LosiRacing these look awesome! Now a few customer suggestions is to bring in a crazy amount of body styles, such as 60/70/80/90/00's Stock cars, especially @mopar bodies such as the Daytona and Superbird for sure! Biggest seller will be the body kits! Easiest way would be to bundle them. Buy the chassis and pick your body. May add a few steps but it'll be worth it. Wheel options will be a big item too, even though its tough to do with the center nut, i know you can do it! This platform will blow up incredibly fast! Especially if the customization options are behind it for the generations past!
As with the other comments, i too would love to see a 1/5th scale but i feel the 1/8th scale would be the goldilocks size for this platform. Big enough for major upgrades but small enough for the neighborhood and tailgate parties!Hope you guys see this!
hey losi, do you think these could come to the uk at some point? these things look awesome!!
Sorry, due to licensing agreement we can only sell in US
@@LosiRacing ah , no worries!
My favorites of your vehicles are the jrx2 and jrxt along with the mini versions, we have an ORIGINAL jrxt and 2 Mini jrx2s
when will the nascar good year truck tires be in stock??????????????? #horizonhobby
pretty sure PL is actually going to ship in May!
@@LosiRacing looking forward to them on my infraction with my Zane Smith body, thank you for your response!
Already preordered 🎉
BINGO!
Nice, but when are we going to see a te-release of the Losi 6ix?
not going to happen, our buddies over at ARRMA have that locked down so we are going to stay in our lane... but maybe a 1/8???
@@LosiRacing well tell you buddies at Arrma, too bad and we are tired of waiting on them sitting on their hands to do something. You guys could literally print the parts that you have already, do a different body, and we wouldn’t care what it was. I say a different body because I know there is issues with licensing, but just put it out there already. You guys are missing out. Once you build steam, you have to capitalize and move forward with that.
As long as you don't make it oval specific, this is going to be a winner.
Road course ready 🤘🏽
But just imagine this on a mini dirt oval. Have one 30 by 50 in the back yard and this is going to be a blast
I hate nascar but don’t they just re setup the car for the couple times a year they race right hand turns?
@Logan_gamble teams have specific cars for certain races. Short track, road corse or super speed ways.
@@linecrosser1738 ok. Cool. Thanks for the info. Obviously I don’t know much about stock car race management. I’m more an f1 guy. Not that I don’t respect the talent on both sides of the pit wall. For stock cars Aussie V8 super car is more exciting in my opinion.
please make it happen, especially Jeff Gordon, the iconic NASCAR driver! but that one thing we don't like is the body clip, we need clipless body system, just like Traxxas does 😂
wait hold on... so the clips are fine or should be re-design ?
@@LosiRacing uhh actually no need, I was just checking your website, sorry I didn't know the clipless body system had been done before, sorry my bad 😅
@losi Soo I'm going to need a black No. 3 body😉
lol.. clear bodies available too :)
Marketing manager here: I want to work for you, LOSI !!!
That is awesome Josh, keep an eye out on our "careers" tab on Horizon Hobby!
Thank you losi
thanks for being a fan!
question is, are the gears INSIDE the diff and the ears on the outcups metal or are they the same plastic in the Arrma Groms?
since that pedestrian brushed motor NEEDS to go
the planetary gears inside are now metal! but the outdrives are the molded composite :) brushed is not ideal for the experienced user but we thought it was the right move to keep cost down and get more people into the hobby
I spent the weekend emailing any hobby store in the uk in anticipation for these. Everyone of the emails has responded this morning stating that you aren’t supplying the NASCAR models to the UK.
I hope you change your mind because there’s plenty of us who want them.
I would love to see classic cars too. Like torinos and superbirds just to name a few. Also an Earnhardt #3 would be amazing.
I want a body and see if it fits my 1/12 wltoys

Will you make clear bodies where we can rep any driver?
I started off trailing and crawling and thought that’s where I would stay.
Here recently I’ve been lucky enough to be invited by @shaffersfullsteamaheadhobbyshop to come out, film and participate in get togethers and events. After a day of bashing and a day out at the Lakemont Park racetrack, I’ve been bit by the speed bug. I need fast and I need it now.
Looking forward to this release. Can’t wait to film it on the track!
That is awesome, thanks for sharing Papa
nice!!
Thanks!
I will wait to see the first impressions, but this might be the car i am looking for. Got lots off rc's, but missing a good looking small racer for the pavement and small spaces. Hopefully there will be multiple TIRES to choose from in future. Probably the most overlooked and important thing for rc's. If you can't get the power down it takes away a lot off the excitement.
agreed, tires are 90% of how a car handles but thankfully our team mates over at PL have some things in the works! and us too!
@@LosiRacing Ha,ha. 90% is a little much, don't you think.? A bad setup can't be compensated with good tires...!
But for example; i am very limited in tires for my 1/10 2wd BUGGY on asphalt... Only have 2 choices.
Use PL's in colder an less grippy situations, when warmer LOUISE's since they are WAY cheaper to run. So from my point off view and experiences with PROLINE (also got multiple 1/8 rc's, buggy, truggy, sc, monstertruck) i would say they still could do better in many ways...
Can you guys convince spektrum to make a 380 version of the 2 in 1 motor esc
