      I love that she shows me parts of the world I will never travel to or see. Morocco (more rock, oh!) is beautiful especially near the Togo border. I had no idea it was so stunning!

    It is ironic. In the middle of the desert you are absolutely alone in hundreds of kilometers and at the same time, tens of thousands of inhabitants from all over the planet are following you, hoping that you arrive safely at your next destination. You are awesome NORALY.

      Same experience I had, in Mali at the south end of Sahara and I realized, how worthy my body, my life, my health is in that surrounding. I was by feet, not by bike! But now I will repeat it with my Himalayan ... Joy and Peace for you all! 😊😎🌻

    Oh my word….. what an incredible landscape. You see photos but the drone footage was just phenomenal. One tree….. one bike……one mad woman…… and sand, a whole lot of sand. 😁 I absolutely LOVE your adventures Noraly.     It's already been said by others, but that drone shot pulling back leaving you as a tiny speck in the vastness of the desert was beyond amazing. A real indication of how insignificant we are as individuals. Having said that, your adventures and exploration pushes you further forward on the significance scale than most human beings.     When I saw your drone shots when you have been sitting alone had your food it was like desert lioness sitting like majestic and it was awesome and unbelievable drone shots almost like Hollywood movies seen . spectacular view from the sky but that location is terrific and terrible to watch.

    I am blown away by how well Noraly captured the scenes in a desolate area. Her words were few during rest breaks, but characterized the feeling of what its like to be there. Call me goofy but I wish I could have been there to experience it. Really appreciate the little details she provides like fuel management, how the rear tank works, the capacity of the fuel bag, the type of food she brought, water supply, etc. The drone footage is absolutely AWE-INSPIRING. In its own way, the area is as amazing to see as the Andes. Also appreciated her detailed update at beginning on the area conditions and hazards. Thank you so much Noraly. Peace ❤❤

      She has an InReach so she can call for help. It is a satellite device. You pay a monthly service and when you hit the button it let's them know you need help and sends your GPS coordinates. They will also text you through it asking about the issue and giving you information. Using it you are dealing with inreach's center and they call local (to you) authorities who do the rescue. I wonder who they would call in Morocco?

    There should be a commemorative plaque on that lone tree with the inscription, "Itchy Boots dined alone in the shade of this tree in March 2023." An unbelievable journey made believable by an intrepid young woman traveling alone with her trusty bike, Alaska. Thank you once again for taking us along.

    As someone who has traveled in the deep desert I think this video captures the experiance magnificently. And as someone who has watched the entire Itchy Boots catalog I beleive this episode really shows what Noraly is all about. Although she loves her interactions with the people she meets her joy when experiancing the great wild wide open spaces seems to resonate to her very core. As Carly Simon said, "Nobody does it better."

    I am speechless indeed. To have the courage to do a solo trip on a desert like this requires an extraordinary person. That drone circle in the middle of the dessert while you having your break to eat was mesmerising. Indeed you are a very very unique human being Noraly and I thank you for doing these videos. Personally you enrich me beyond you can imagine. It is crazy you don't have more subscribers and also that so far no one of those big famous Doco channels have hired you. If someone is the perfect host for such a channel is you. Amazing. You are just amazing and I am writing this in Australia at 1:30am on Saturday because I always wait for your episode to be upload, watch it and then go to sleep happy.

    A lone tree in a vast landscape provides Noraly with shelter - incredible, breathtaking drone footage! The deceptive allure of a desert mirage like water on the horizon is truly a bizarre experience, so mesmerizing too! I witnessed that for several days whilst traversing the Sahara in Sudan decades ago. Mirages play deceptive mind tricks!
    Noraly, your levels of self awareness, confidence and courage to undertake this trip - 600kms of desert - all by yourself is remarkable and awe-inspiring. Kudos. You're an absolute legend!!!

    Not only are you an inspiration to all "adventure riders" But your "can do" attitude is truly an inspiration to women and girls everywhere. There are many men, myself included who wouldn't do what you do. Stay safe on your wonderful adventures. I think when you are my age you will live with no regrets.     Hi Noraly, A mirage is an optical effect that is sometimes seen at sea, in the desert, or over a hot pavement, that may have the appearance of a pool of water or a mirror in which distant objects are seen inverted, and that is caused by the bending or reflection of rays of light by a layer of heated air of varying density. A very common occurrence in the desert :) .

      @@justinsmith4562 What if something goes wrong? What if your motorcycle breaks? What if a snake or a scorpion bites you or you get lost in that desert... All these thoughts come to mind when thinking of such trip. However, not for Noraly and that's why she is an inspiration!

      @@justinsmith4562 If you take the paved road from Esmara to Dakhla, you will encounter a police checkpoint every 50 km. They will register your name and inform the next police checkpoint for your safety. Noraly took the most dangerous military road and ignore all the checkpoints. To be honest, I was also scared for Noraly's life because this is a disputed area full of hidden mines and without any phone signal...

      @@adamkomot179 I have took that route and it is not true. There is a checkpoint every 100 km or more and definitely not 50km and to be honest the dispute would not cause any physical harm as she mentioned there is a huge wall which stands to protect anyone passing on the other side of it

      me too, I'm also Moroccan and I would love to ride through the desert in the south of morocco, but I would not dare to cross the desert alone. So many thing that could wrong you run out of fuel, you get stuck in sand, or your motorcycle breaks, anything bad happens and if there is no phone network in the area, that's a death sentence, just a matter of days until you run out of water.

    My mom and her parents came to the USA to live from Friesland back in the day on a ship 🚢. And back then that was considered a BIG accomplishment 😊
    Now seeing a Dutch girl traveling the world at such a young age is beyond cool.
    Her parents have to be proud to see their daughter doing more in life than 99% of most people never see their own country.
    Thanks for taking us along on your journeys
    And a BIG shout out to her parents for raising such a good human being. Because she has a big impact on the world 🌎 when interacting with others.

    I just recently started watching Noraly as she makes her way through Africa and it is amazing. This episode struck me. You stray off the track and there are landmines? Yikes! What in the world happens if you break down or run out of gas? Hundreds of kilometers of nothing, not even a tree. You are exceptionally brave, and it is compelling watching you.

      Western Sahara (or Morocco Sahara if you're pro Morocco) A former colony of Spain. After Spain gave up this colony it was left to neighboring states. It was split by Morocco and Mauretania but after a war with Polisario for independence it's nowadays 80% occupied by Morocco. Mauretania couldn't maintain the war with Polisario and withdrew. It's still an ongoing dispute.
      Very short history in a nutshell. IB doesn't, wisely, want to elaborate on the subject in the first minutes of the video but she does mention the berm and the landmines.

    Hi Noraly...I remember when you first arrived in the USA (to San Diego) from Mexico on your way up to Alaska...I live in San Diego & I had assumed that you would just take a scenic drive up the coast along Pacific Coast Highway for at least maybe the trip up to Los Angeles...instead, after spending about a week here in San Diego getting Alaska serviced, you immediately headed west out deep into the Anza Borrego Desert in the late summer, when it was still exceedingly hot out there, all by yourself (something not too many local people, who know the very well, would ever venture to do)...&, now here you are in North Africa, all alone in the middle of an even much deeper, almost completely barren desert 🏜...you really are amazingly courageous woman!

    Just as I finish watching this video , it inspires me to go on a ride adventure.
    Ill be on asphalt for about sixty miles, lots of traffic, never more than 20 miles from gas. With cell phone coverage.

    OH, WOW - This is an adventure of mega proportions. Traveling such great distances with no infrastructure but only relying on what you are carrying with you it is epic!!! Finding the one and only little tree in the desert to stop to have a rest and little something to eat, incredible! Then reaching a town where there is no room for our Itchy Boots, unimaginable! Noraly you had my respect before but now I am in awe of you and your spirit of adventure. GO ITCHY BOOTS, GO ... 🏍🏍🏍

    Dans le désert, Saint-Exupéry a rencontré le petit prince. Noraly, sous le seul arbre dans le désert, à des centaines de kilomètres de toutes civilisations, elle a fait la découverte d'une grande solitude 🤔Nous qui la suivons depuis longtemps, on a fait la connaissance de la petite princesse!! 🤩

    Super remote spots like deserts are incredible for their beauty and solitude.
    It takes a lot of careful planning and common sense as well as skill and perseverance, but us viewers all know Noraly has plenty of these qualities - and more!!

    When in Algeria with the military, I learned how deceptive the desert could be when driving across it ina vehicle. Mirages are common, vegetation is not.
    You did well, Noraly. A demanding journey that brought the vastness and emptiness of the desert to people’s homes.
    The chain guard issue seems to stay with your bike. Neither looked substantial enough to cope with the work the bike is doing.

      Within Morocco there are no dangerous areas, but the only danger is its deepening in the desert away from the small towns and the roads linking them, especially since she travels alone and if her bike breaks down, it will take time to find it.

    Thank you Noraly for taking us with you over this vast and incredible Moroccan desert. To me, the real hero of this episode was that true and trusted friend, "Alaska" which, despite losing a chain guard, just kept on going when to do otherwise would have been disastrous!
