what is blud yapping about 😂😂 amazing video Daft-pls more serious ones like this. Emotional intelligence is certainly becoming a bit of a superpower. I am 21 years old and the things that I see from my peers in instagram comments and the like… it is truly sickening. There’s the insincerity, but there is also just such violent hatefulness, everywhere. As an aspiring musician, I’ll get countless undiscovered artists in my algorithm-most, if not all of whom have had to overcome some degree of anxiety over sharing their vulnerable stuff-and they’ll be getting just absolutely destroyed by the comments. No attempt to offer constructive (or even relevant) feedback, no attempt to be polite or supportive. Just ripping the nastiest insults, about their art, their looks (this is so common and so bad), their dead grandparents in their bio, etc. Anything that is provided will be attacked. I have to think that breeds a certain mass insecurity. Nobody wants to be unique, or sincere, because they will inevitably get ripped in the comments, so to speak. So we just make the same, pre-approved “jokes” over and over and make sure to force our same misery onto anyone else who tries to be free. #America Now what do we do tho, guys? haha. …
A really cool topic, as a very young millennial I also feel the need to undercut serious moments with humor. I appreciate my Gen Z friends who don't have that "timer" to make a joke and have genuine conversations. Thanks for reflecting on this, a lot to think about.
It makes me really sad tbh, i see so many people my age just burying themsleves in irony just blunt nihilism because I KNOW for a fact they dont feel happy and part of the world because i unfortunately have that tendency as well. You deliberately disconnect yourself from the world and other people before they or the world can do that to you. Great video man, cant really add anything cus i agree lots. 🤝
bro never misses, relaxing as usual and interesting at that
