- If you own a Subaru Impreza 2.0i with ivory seats, replace them immediately! I highly recommend replacing them with stock 2015 wrx interior. It's all a straight swap and takes very little time.

I'm so glad everything on my 2017 Impreza Sport is already black/dary gray'ed out cause yeah I'm not a fan of the older ivory interiors. Got me wondering though what I could eventually swap out if I wanted.
I'm with you 100% man. I love my base level Impreza but hate my interior, the seats specifically. On my 3 hour trips to Nashville TN, my back gets super sore on the drive. For what it's worth your trim pieces would be worth listing on ebay.
Was thinking wonderingbif the A, B, and C pillars fit. Now that i know, I'm going to find some. Been thinking about doing this interior swap. I have a 2013 2.0i sedan. Thanks for making this video.

I just swapped my stock ugly ivory 2012 Impreza 2.0i hatchback seats for 2016 wrx stock black seats .. everything fit flush EXCEPT the 2 outer bolts of the frame on the driver’s seat. I threw out my stock non turbo seats already.. what now?!! Anyone know any way to mod the seat frame??!! HELP 😭
I'm in dire need for a new steering wheel, I have a cover on it, but the original one is peeling severely and looks really bad, is that a hard thing to replace?
I have a 13 Sport Limited Hatch and it came with an all black interior. The quality isn't the greatest but it looks much better than the ivory without a doubt. What kind of steering wheel cover is that?

I know you said the swap was easy but I can't find any videos for it....or any walk-throughs for that matter! I daily a 2018 stage 2 WRX 6MT but have the chance to pick up a cheap 2012 Impreza 5MT as a cheap winter car.

Hey Tom, I’m thinking of doing the same thing. I have a 2012 Impreza 5 door sedan base model, & when looking on Ebay or amazon it always says these and other WRX seats of years between 8-15 won’t fit my car. Why do they say that if it isn’t true?
If I remember correctly, the sedan fitment is slightly different when compared to the hatchback. It doesn’t hurt to give it a try if you have a WRX buddy, ask to try and see if the fitment will work.
So 08-15 wrx seats will fit a 2012 Impreza premium hatchback 5 door 2.0i?

I believe the center console is a bit different, so no on that part. As for the driver and passenger seat, maybe. I don't know if the rear seats will be compatible. But again, I haven't been in a Legacy for a while.

The 2015+ Subaru WRX/STI interior is a direct swap into your impreza hatchback. This includes the plastic door cards, center console, trim pieces, and seats.
Hey Tom, I have the 14 and it appears that the new seat rails don't lineup from a 15 WRX. The ones from my car are even and the rails from the WRX are staggered. Are these adjustable?
@@Vantage08 Is your Impreza a sedan or hatchback? It should fit the hatchback with no issues. If it's a sedan, it will not fit.
@@TomVangTV it's the hatch. I used the rails from the old seats on the passenger seat but it looks like on the driver seat there's a star nut that's behind the rail and it doesn't look like there's much access. Ongoing lol
@@Vantage08 Can you email me pictures of the seat (TomVangTV@gmail.com)? I'm also confused as it should be a direct fit. There were no issues when I replaced mine. I simply unbolted the two front seats, unclipped the wires, and put the new seats in.

I haven't had the opportunity to step foot into a 2019 Subaru Impreza yet. However, I do know that starting with 2019, Subaru is shifting over all of its current models to the Global Platform. I assume, therefore that all of the new 2019+ and newer Subaru Impreza, Crosstrek, Legacy, Outback, and Ascent will all share the Global Platform and allow for interchangeability. The Subaru WRX/STI will not be on the Global Platform just yet.
TomVangTV how about rims ? I know my rims are 5x100..... and suggestions on what other Subaru rims I can use ?
@@RichieRich-ug2wr Unfortunately, to my knowledge, wheel selection for the 5x100 is very limited. If you go aftermarket, you will have a little bit more selection choice for alternate wheels. However, as for OEM, the Subaru BRZ Gloss Black STI wheels can fit yours. I believe it was an 18x8.5 5x100. Anything the BRZ/86 can put on, you can also. The last alternative is to run wheel spacers to allow you to op for other bolt patterns such as the 5x114.3 on the WRX/STI. I personally recommend against spacers but it's an option.

It was a universal steering wheel wrap that you can find off of Amazon. They're cheap. Go for approximately $5-~$15.
