I just bought Pigments 5. Watched this video. Now I am the Captain of a Spaceship. Excellent video.
Just bought Pigments. I could have read the manual ten times and not come away with the knowledge you provided me. Amazing work. Much appreciated!
Honestly Thank you so much for making this. It's people like you who fuel greatness and move the world forward.
Thank you for putting this much effort in a single synth tutorial.
Ah man - please do more of these! Incredible depth - long live long form content!
This tutorial has been extremely valuable to get me up and running with Pigments. It's awesome! Thank you so much for this very good training!
I've had this synth for several months now but haven't done a deep dive with it yet. It's quickly turning into one of my favorite software synths, the possibilities just seem endless! This video has been super helpful, especially since the timeline is marked so I can skip to sections covering stuff I don't already know yet. This is easily one of the best tutorials I've seen on something like this, I'm so grateful you made it.
Now this is what I call a walkthrough, well done. This has greatly increased my knowlage and made me working alot easier in Pigments.
Wow, thank you for this coverage Jules! This is amazing. I've only been using Pigments 3 for some really nice pad presets, as I hadn't spent the time getting to know it yet. This is one hell of a Synth. Holy hell! Its really not scary to look at, but has a lot to it - and now it has a lot more than I could have ever imagined. Thank you!
Just bought Pigments and I am quite new to synths in general, so your video helps a ton! That's really nice, that everything is in one video, don't have to jump all over the youtube, to learn. Thank you!
Truly awesome and thorough and detailed. Very much appreciated for the time and effort this must have taken.
Thank you so much for the comprehensive overview of the synth. Great stuff!!
Thanks Jules, I appreciate the Pigments video. Have an awesome weekend and great ADE set - woohoooo
Great tutorial Jules. Thank you so much. 🙏🏻
Instant like and subscribe right when i saw that the video is 3 HOURS LONG WHAT?!?! Man this is sick, i'm excited to watch all that you have here on your channel! Can't thank you enough!
Thank you for this FANTASTIC detailed tutorial. It is phenomenal
Really great video! Super thorough and just what I needed. I purchased Pigments on the recommendation of a friend and have yet to dive in. It seemed really daunting. This has helped so much and made me super excited to explore. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this! I just played with it for a few hours and this is just what i needed to pick up some stuff i didn't unedrstand
Thanks so much Bro, Fantastic detailed Tutorial!!
Pigments was my first ever soft synth, and boy what an assault to my brain and eyes lol. I had to take a step back to other more simpler synths - but Pigments 4 really helped ease me back into it.
Thank you very much for this deep explanation of the functions of Pigments. Very helpful.
Cheers Jules! Really helpful.
Nice to see you're spreading some sweet Pigments love!
Great video. Thanks for all of the tips. Mega helpful :)
You’re insane bro, proper tutorial 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Fantastic tutorial - thank you very much !!!!
Woooohoooooooo - Sweet - Thank you so much Jules
YOU ARE AN ANGEL MAN!!!! Thabk you very much for putting this through. Amazingly helpful
Thanks! Just bought pigments, very useful. Get your like sir.
Thanx for this, much appreciated my friend :D
Syntorial is amazing used your link this is definitely going to help cut my teeth into synths. I am the type of person that needs to know the how and why, Syntorial is crazy because it teaches you the methodology and then demonstrate it. To me that is invaluable thanks again.
Thanks for this!
It's Crazy the amount of time you gotta put in behind this music production career in order to be one of the greats! there's s lot to learn just in one single plugin, I be seeing producers use plugins like the back of their hands & I'm here just 30 mins in! lmao
Wow, thank you!
long but very worth it. thank you!
Thank you!
it was so usefull. thanks alot.
thank you so much!
Thanks man!
thx bro subscribed
23:37 Reminds me of Aphex Twin's track with the shepard tones. Driving me mad 😂
Thank you so much for this useful video. I'm working with Pigments 5, is there a "panic" button somewhere ?
🔥
Great guide. Like your excellent Diva 3 hour guide. So I think you are about 6 months in with pigments now. For your style of music would you recommend someone looking to get stuck into a synth go for either Diva or Pigments? Or apples and pears. Thanks.
Yeah a bit of an apples and pears situation. Pigments is a lot more capable of crazy sound design and doing things like sequences, additive sound design, WT synthesis, sample based synthesis and more. Its super powerful! I still find myself reaching for diva tho and i guess its because im so used to it its like a habit for me. If i had to start over id probably focus more on pigments simply cause of all its versatility.
@@BoundtoDivide Great answer and thanks for the quick reply.
What is the program you use on top of screen while explaining synth and fx? Thanks for the great content at all!
MiniMeters
hi, i have pigments but i cant see how to see my keyboard keys. can you please tell me?
Can You make a song with pigments? That would be great
and now Pigments FOUR!!!!! Woohoo!!
Is it possible to have fx affect one of the engines and not the other ? Say I want reverb on engine one and delay only on engine two.
3 fkn hours later... cool i got it all 😵💫
How do I make a preset into Mono please - clicking mono in the play section does nothing
You should do a sound design course in Pigments, it would sell like hotcakes
Morre like, sell like "Hot Pigmantts"...no wait. That doesn't make since 😕 that doesn't make since at all...Hot cakes...yeah lets go with hot cakes hot cakes is fine.
The presets don't show up in the playlist when I drag and drop them in. Am I missing something here?
Thank you jules but I’ve seen your videos you’re not using this synth as far as i know. Is it because cpu issues or what ?
And I’m curious what is your favorite synth / vst plugin for 2022
Thats because I only read the manual last week so I didn’t know how to use it before. But now it’s definitely gonna be used a lot! The sequencer, granual, and harmonic engines are insanely powerful! Can’t wait to use them in my next production sessions! Currently my fav synths are Diva and Serum but I’m sure Pigments will join them!
@@BoundtoDivide 🙌🏼 great !!
can anyone tell me what spectrum analyzer is being used at the top of the video? It would look dope on my mini monitor 🤓
Minimeters
Nice overview but a bit annoying that the DAW audio is like 3 times louder than the speech
Not sure where best to post this question but does anybody know what's happened to all the live videos from Jules UA-cam page (Just Gone!). Bit gutted as I was following along to one and got about half way through, as just got back into music. Does anyone know if they will be put back up or has he removed them permanently? Cheers
Hey, I posted an update on this, they're all unlisted but there's a playlist on my channel where you can go and watch them if you want!
AH! thanks Jules, I nearly had heart failure!!! keep up the good work mate as I'm learning so much now that I'm concentrating on one person and not jumping from UA-cam vid to UA-cam vid!! cheers
@@darrenjames2579 You can also see on discord under # live -announcement you can find all the latest ones there :)
how to add 3rd partie presets
Three bars at the lef top -> Import presets
Merci !
Er anyone know how you init Pigments please? 😆🤷🏻♂
In presets Filter by: Templates, then in there is a "Default" preset which seems to be just a sine wave.
sad think i need to learn english very well before.
