I really would love it if they could rework "Cause of Death" somehow.... there seems to be potential there, and I've made it "kinda" work with a really heavy bleed team. But only after getting the Bleed Trinkets and Bleed Trophy from the Shroud. Would it be too cracked with Execute? Also... I think it should be useable from the back line. It is way too niche of an ability to make it Melee. It needs the binding shadows treatment at the very least.
You don't need to stack DOTs sky-high for Cause of Death to have value. One stack of 3 DOT of any kind is burned for 9 DMG, which is pretty solid for one button press. With crit, that goes up to 15 - more than most regular attacks. Double the DOT, and you start getting into one-shot territory for a lot of regular enemies. Rank 4 Orphan + crit + Cause of Death can kill almost any size 1 in one round, provided no Death Armor, without any trinket support at all. Obliterating a boss in an instant is very satisfying, but you don't have to do it to get value from Cause of Death. Just dealing some good damage here and there is more than enough.
I feel like they should hybridize hero's death door with what they've done with the enemies. Maybe give heroes death door tokens depending on the hero & quirks. After the tokens are gone, then roll the dice after each hit. It just feels so painful losing Flagellant on the first death's door check.
Picked the game up on ps5 , never played it before.. The roguelight style seemed nice to me , just reached my first mountain on denial after 6 tries :') , feels like this game is going to be hard until i start understanding combinations better, videos like yours are kinda fun to watch and very informativ along the way so just thought i'd leave that here :) Btw , i have an annoying bug where as relationships are concluded the screen goes black and i have to restart it for every single relationship status :')

Hey i got the same problem but i known that the black screen occurs when you try a relationship check when you're checking the effect using R3. Sorry if i'm not 100% clear english is not my first language 😅
How is this possible vanguard add 1 dmg every round i have riposte without the 20hp while u have 4-7 flat dmg with 20hp?? Is this a old video for an old vod?

The resistance encounters not lowering loathing is universal. Meaning testers should have experienced this
Unsure what was tested or not for the ports. This issue should be fixed on PlayStation and hopefully Nintendo and Xbox this week

Was not aware of the issues. Hopefully the switch version has no issues getting updates
Updates are coming next week for switch and Xbox according to the devs (assuming they're approved by the console companies)

I would love to see a class/ career path added that cant have trinkets equipped, but get to equip extra abilities instead
