    It's nice to see this latest 3-in-1 eAxle, from Magna, which is officially called the 'eDS High HE' (eDS = electric Drive System). Dimensions of this unit are 490mm x 480mm x 300mm. It is interesting to see that the inverter is mounted on the side of the transmission/reducer - a configuration which I have seen a few times recently, from other eAxle suppliers. I'm assuming this is done to make it easier to mount this eAxle vertically, with the motor above the output shaft (often used in front-mounting), or horizontally, with the motor beside the output shaft (to reduce overall height, for rear-mounting).
