Thank YOU for taking the time to watch, Dana!
🔆This project is FABULOUS! I’m so super excited…something new to hunt for (clay paint)!!!🔆
Thanks for much for watching!
A very unique bowl. The paint seems to be user friendly. Good to know. Carol from California
Thanks for watching!
Paint Pixie has an excellent paint line also. It is a mixture of clay and chalk. Paint Pixie makes the artist brush line for the Turquoise Iris. She also has a beautiful line of larger brushes for furniture. Italian made.
Good to know!
I love how the bowl looks, so cool. Off to plan my bowl and order paints. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching Leslie!
Love your paper bowls and thank you for sharing the paint process!
Thanks for watching Arlene!

Thank you Anne!
Fun and interesting as always😃
Thanks so much!
WOW!!!😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Victor!!
Very cool project!
Thanks Marianne!
Wonderful 🥰🐞 Namaste 🥰
Thank you!
I would be curious to try this with the Flashe paints by Lefranc & Bourgeois, or with some tempera paints, or maybe Annie Sloan has similar paints. This is the technique used on antique French Country style pieces of furniture. In France, they use paints made of casein (made from milk) and they end up exactly with this kind of result.
Very nice project!
Thanks for watching!

You will not believe how much this video has been stolen and put on videos that come from Asia. Without credit to you. I love what you do because your concepts are on another level. Thank you.
Unfortunately that sometimes happens but I figure Karma will take care of it eventually! 😈
Wow super work😍😍
Thanks so much!
Shannon thank you for taking the time to teach us this wonderful technique - your bowl came out beautiful - i do have a quick question - when you created your bowl - did you use hot glue to attach everything? - thanks again and be well 🤗🤗
There is some hot glue, some PVA, and the beads are threaded on string so there’s a lil bit of everything holding it together!
Turquoise Iris Dionne Woods
Thank you! I temporarily forgot her name but not her talent!
Hi Shannon!
Why does the wax turn the paper so dark? Why did you choose to use water and not sand paper, sanding block or scrubbies? Especially on the recycled newspaper which has less integrity, absorbs water and begin the waxing/sealing process before it is totally dry? I would think sealing damp recycled paper might cause mold growth.
Thanks
🐝
It gets darker because the wax soaks into the clay and chalk that’s in the paint. I used water instead of a sanding block because my goal wasn’t just to remove paint. That’s easily done by sanding. But I wanted the colors to blend into each other and that requires water. Thanks for watching!
@@ShannonGreen thanks makes sense now!🤗
talked too much. Did not tell how the bowls were made. only talked about painting.
I love watching you make things from paper. Do you have a video of making that bowl? I looked and couldn’t find one, BUT that doesn’t mean anything. 😂🤣 If you don’t have one, would you consider making one in the future? I want to make that bowl SOOO bad. 🫣🤪❤️
I’ve never done a tutorial for that kind of bowl but will add it to my list of video ideas. I sure do appreciate you taking the time to watch!
