Bought one of these 3 years ago and never taken it outta the box. Haven't had the time to go camping but since moving from Los Angeles to TN and now having some woods on my property and my son being outta school now it's finally time.
Picked up one today. They have changed them a little bit with a bigger price tag of $84. They added a back window with awning to stop rain and added a screen to the door. Nice tents for sure.
I love this tent super fast and easy, plus the fact you can stand up and walk through the door without crouching, I've had this tent for over a year and it's amazing
Great instructional video ... Mine is coming on Friday ... I can't wait ... I've been using my backpacking tent for car-camping and I want to be able to stand up ... thanks for the video ...
I just bought this tent an hour ago. I was literally watching this video when i saw it at walmart to see if its worth it. They had them on closeout for $65. I snatched it quickly
@@ThunderMountainTactical had you used yours in rain? I'm water proofing mine but am curious if it's held up in rain or snow. I live in Colorado so I deal with every dang weather pattern you can imagine

I've been using this tent for 5 years now, it's still holding up well. I use it by myself most of the time. Spacious and very easy to set up, it's a good deal for the price.
@@ThunderMountainTactical lol ikr one of my buddies told me to get a full size told me I'd need room for other things wish I wouldn't have bought the king size air mattress
I just bought 2 for almost the price of 1 $89 original price, bought on clearance for $50 apiece, just for extra shelter, for SHTF. I heard they do leak, so a good waterproofing, and seam sealing will happen on the 1st good weather day. I wished they would have made it out of one fabric to mitigate the leaking, and the green for better concealment.
Me and my dog are nomads that travel with a bicycle and trailer. I'm typing this inside my bivy sack with my dog thinking there's got to be a better way. I already use a 20x16 HD tarp to keep everyone and everything dry. This is starting to sound like a better solution since the tarp weighs about the same. I almost bought one today, but didn't until I spend a couple of hours researching. S.O.P. for new and untried gear.
I would definitely buy the heavy duty tent spikes for every day use incase of storms. Other then that this thing really held up good. Really hope you enjoy it as much as we have. Good luck!
@@ThunderMountainTactical my dog learned a long time ago not to put holes in tent floors, she hates getting wet. Its funny to watch how careful she is not to, especially if we're in an inflatable raft. Mold usually takes them out after 6mo. An expensive tent will succumb to mold as fast as a cheap tent.
@@ThunderMountainTactical : Thanks ! I've been eyeballing these for a while now, to use in NW, PA deer season durring December. We never know whether it'll be 8° or 80° . I keep thinking of various ways to seal those window tops to make it feasible. to utilize .

The water proofing on ours is great. It rained and snowed for several days on us and it kept everything dry. You will be able to stand and dress in it just fine. Good luck!

I’ve watched a few reviews of teepee tents and nobody shows the poles going up, is it really hard to do so they hide the process ?
Actually it is the opposite. It actually just telescopes out until you reach the desired height. It is so simple we just over looked it.....
Can you put a stove jack in it

The weak link with these Tee Pee's, besides N0T having a screened door; is that the windows do not fasten "across" the tops
